From 1st June 2006, inclusive minutes cannot be used to call numbers with the 07744 and 07755 prefix. These calls will be charged at 25p per minute at all times.

These numbers are often used for dial-throughs, so you can get 'free' international calls.

The number ranges 07744 and 07755 are allocated to Inquam Telecom (Holdings) Limited.

Strangely O2 only seem to to be going to exclude these number ranges from the inclusive minutes of their pay monthly customers.

T-Mobile and 3, as I understand it, already excludes these number ranges from the inclusive minutes of all their customers.

With Vodafone, it appears you take pot luck. You could well find that you will be charged, but if you complain by via their customer services number 191, you stand a good chance of getting your money refunded.

Orange seem the only network to still include these number ranges within their X-network allowances.

Virgin Contracts also include them in x-net inclusive minutes.

I got this email from your call today saying following:

I've never heard of a service like this before, so just went and looked up yourcall. I'm on O2 PAYG, is the 07744 number treated as an o2 mobile or another network mobile?
