Been wondering if it's possible to transfer video/audio from a laptop to the 530h via cable of some sort. Anyone experimented with this .. before I start?

why not just burn onto dvd/cd?

No reason really! Just curiosity. I have a lot of video stuff on laptop from before I bought the 530 so was wondering if I could save time by transferring direct. Anyway, I just like trying to beat ther system! So far - no luck. Tried various combinations of cables, settings and connections and the problem seems to be getting the laptop to output.

only way to do it really is laod them to another hard drive, or transfer to a external hard drive,
