Why is TCM not on Homechoice?

Hello, has anybody know why TCM (Turner Classic Movies) isn't on Homechoice? It's already got Cartoon Network and CNN so it must be available to them. It's a decent station and features some good movies.

coz it's a movie channel - and HC would rather make money by peddling their own cruddy movies than giving us decent ones for free. will be interesting if they offer us filmfour when that becomes free later this year!

Just because a channel becomes fta, it doesnt mean its free for those who carry it.

well, in that case surely it does, coz c4 would want as many people to view it as possible in order to maximise advertiser revenue... no?

But homechoice is only a small player when it comes to customers. Ch4 & its family of channels will stick to freeview, sky & cable .

yeah, but HC is able to provide ultra-accurate viewer statistics, which presumably is a good bargaining chip?
