Anybody watch this?

I saw it for the first time the other day, and rather enjoyed it. It kind of reminded me of the Flying Doctors as it was set in the outback

Anybody know much about it? There are three girls with blonde hair who I am presuming are the daughters. But then there is another called Claire with brown hair, how is she related?

I cant even remember what channel it's on now lol

It's been going for years...
basically Claire and Tess are half sisters, related by the same father Jack McLeod. Tess' mum died at the very start of the show and she went in search of her half sister claire, who stayed with her dad, when his second wife left him 25 years before.
Claire's mum died in childbirth (during the birth of Claires brother, who also died) and he re-married again to Tess' mum, when Claire was approx 3/4 yrs.
Nick and Alex Ryan (who have grown up around Claire) are the love interests, who live and work on neighbouring properites - clearly I can't give to much away, as I've seen upto season three (still waiting for them to show season 4)
McLeods Daughters' does have an official website.... on msn (OZ version)

I am a McLeod's daughters addict! It's the best programe ever. It's the most popular drama in australia, holland and is screened in hundres of countries worldwide, including u.s.a! It also has won several awards over the past five years. In this country most people havn't heard of it- this anoys me as most of britan think they know all about australian tv but what they come up with just proves their ignorance!!!!! It's much better than Home and away, on an even keel with neighbours but beats any british tv show- hands down!

I'm watching series six,It's on hallmark mon-fri 9am- i tape it as i'm still in bed then! Series seven started in Australia a week ago. And Lisa Chappell (Claire) and Aaron Jeffreys (Alex) both won the show silver logies ( australian tv awards) for the episode where claire died.

Claire's death was also voted as one of australia's most memorable tv moments, it was a real tearjerker. Are you waiting for series seven?

I saw an episode of this yesterday on Hallmark.

The episode showed Becky telling Claire Peter was married and Claire shouting at her. Poor Becky. Don't shoot the messenger Claire.

Ah the good old days! Claire always did have quite a temper on her, i wish they hadn't killed her off.
This is much better than any british soap!

Alex and Stevie's wedding day sees them become man and wife in a charming cermeony. With the bridesmaids in Black and Stevie in White. However firstly Alex is arrested on his stag night! McLeod's just gets better and better- anyone who dosn't watch this- you don't know what your missing!
