Well I love Jodi but both Meg and Terry are fantastic on screen together and make a great TV couple. It has such a great balance of both comedy and drama and I love seeing the beautiful Australian Outback. Iv'e seen every single episode up until the series six finalie and own series one, two and three on DVD ( which I bourght in Holland) , It's unlike any TV drama I know and I really enjoy it. I was in tears when Claire died, it was such a touching and well written episode. But the epsidoe here Tess and Nick leave and Rob and Jodi are fleeing the hitman is first class, it was so gripping. Mcleod's is the best!

Where can I buy it-DVD format?..The series I'm watching on Hallmark at the moment still have Tess & Nick but they've a problem,Sally had baby-Harrison by Nick-which upset Tess very much--understandably!It looks as tho' Jodi is about to go on the run with Luke---where did Rob come from? I've watched the lot over & over--whenever it's broadcast. I'm going into hospital next week for Spinal Operation,I'll set TV for every episode--I'll have an excuse to sit & watch-I have to take it easy-lying down flat-but I'll still keep with McLeod and all his daughters..Nice to know others are as devoted as I am--most people I talk to look nonplussed & ask 'What is it'?---The best on TV I answer!

Well good luck with your operation and I wish you a speedy recovery, I too will be setting the DVD next week as I'm going on holiday to Greece. I got my DVD's on holiday but most of the dutch DVD's are on ebay and are english with dutch subtitles that you can remove. Gettting a DVD from Australia can be risky not only is it more expensive over there, but they may not necercerally work. If youv'e not seen series six you won't know who Rob is, well I don't want to spoil that for you as it's a great storyline. Hope to hear from you as soon as you can get back online. It's very nice to hear from a fellow fan.

Hi fellow McLeod fans, yes series 7 started today on Hallmark - 11 am every morning.....I've taped it, I like to watch a chunk together at the weekends....very sad.
I'm completely besotted with the programme. It's aussie tv at it's best. I love the characters, such a shame that so many of the cast have or are leaving. I read Aaron and Simone are going too.

I luv McLeod's too, have you heard about it being axed! I was very upset!
Yes, I was born there. But my parents are English and I have lived in England since I was a kid. Freinds tell me I have a strong aussie accent! And I'm moving back to Australia in the next couple of years.

Hi Jack, I'm envious. Do you have a job over there? I suppose you can stay indefinitely as you were born there. I've always loved aussie tv. I've watched Neighbours and H and A since they began, they're the only soaps I watch, I hate most British tv to be honest. BBC2 used to show excellent Australian movies years ago - I love Picnic at Hanging Rock.
I've heard rumours that McLeods is going to end soon, probably because they've lost and are still losing so many cast members....it's very sad. It will be greatly missed. I think I'll get the first series and maybe more on DVD.

No I don't have a job there but I have family I can stay with and many freinds who live there.
Yes the Aussie soaps are a lot better than the UK soaps, there just so much better acted, scripted and more lighthearted and fun I find Eastenders very depressing and dreary. I too only watch the aussie soaps.

Yes I saw that, I watched some of the clips of her dancing on youtube. Maybe that's one show the Aussie's don't do as well as the Brits sorry.

hey - i'm addicted 2 - no one has ever heard of it - but its fantastic. one of the best Australian programmes that i have seen in the UK. i think i ahve seen up to series five but have just bought series 1 off ebay and its fantastic. Becky is my favourite in the early series and then stevie.

Thanks for posting about the advert Delta, I'll pop over and have a look. I've now bought series one and two on dvd. I'd never seen series one, I started watching from the second series on tv. It was great seeing Tess arrive. I'm looking for series three but it seems to be much more expensive. I can't find it for much under £40. Anyone have any ideas?

I tried to get into this, (having given up on Corrie - I need a soap!) but the problem I found was there's too much of it. I can't keep up with watching an hour a day. If it was on 2 or 3x a week then yes, I may still be with it.
I enjoyed the bits I watched, it looks like I could have got into it, and yes the scenery is fab too. Looks like a quality show.
