Anyone know why T-Mobile have withdrawn the MDA Compact phone from their website?

Is there any recommended t-mobile resellers that people use?

Perhaps there is a replacement due out soon? Or maybe they are trying to push people towards the MDA Pro?

Have you called telesales to see if they have any MDA Compacts left to sell?

It might just be that they are out of stock. The w800 has disappeared too but I know that it was out of stock on Friday so that's probably why...

I think it's a stock issue.

That's what telesales told me about the MDA Pro yesterday. They said I could have a different phone with the 25% discount, or the Pro without the discount. So I called websales and they said that was rubbish. Yes, the phone was out of stock but I could order it and get the 25% LR discount, but I would have to wait for the phone to come into stock.

Later, I called back to see if I could transfer my details instead of having to re-enter them all (I was closing one line to open another) and the very helpful and patient man in T-mobile retentions offered me the same deal as a new connection and best of all, the phone had come into stock!

I now have a lovely new MDA Pro on my desk.
