K750i screen area markings

I have got a K750i in a Krussell case.

Anyway I'm trying to keep the screen pristine, but had to take it out for a hour or two the other day to perform a firmware upgrade. I keep noticing under my bright halogen lighting that the screen and especially the black shiny plastic around it has little streak like scratch lines all over - not scratches but they look like them until you rub at them!

Tried to get them off and make them stay off with a supposedly micro fibre cloth but they either dont't change or just smear the screen even more!

Any tips?

You can remove scratches on mobile phone screens with toothpaste.
