Hi there. I wonder if anyone can help. Does anyone know of any way I can sell my personal mobile phone number and the procedures I would have to take in order to do this?

I know you can do it on eBay, but I was wondering of there was anywhere else?

Do you mean you have a normal mobile phone number, such as 0796 2?? 9999 and you want to sell this number? (?? used to replace two digits, so not to accidentally post someones number).

If so, you can port that number to a PAYG SIM and then sell the SIM, or you could just phone your current operator and ask for the PAC then give that Port Authorisation Code to the buyer, then can then transfer your number to their current SIM.

Any idea where to sell/how much they go for (thinking of attempting to make a quick £ if it sells )!!

They can go for various amounts from not much to quite a tidy sum, this is on eBay.

There's one on eBay at the moment with 13 bids and is currently at £970, there's another where the person is asking £2,150.

I don't think you'd get this for yours, but it's worth a try and really do emphasise the NAME!

I don't buy SIMs only sell them. LOL.

Plus I have a platinum number that cost me nothing.
