Hi all, i am having a problem with my dvd player and sky, when i watch it through the scart chanel everything is very dark.

sky is plugged in to dvr - which is plugged in to tv.

but when i watch it through the tuned in channel everything is fine!

i know i haven't explained very well but i will answer any questions if anyone can help me, it's quite annoying!

Also does anyone know where to find a firmware upgrade for the dvd player which would let it play divx?

Have you checked in the Initial Set Up Menu that the Video In and Video Out match that expected by the Sky box and the TV?

D'oh must remember not to post till i have checked the obvious stuff! but thanks for the reminder!

still looking for firmware and also a users manual as i have lost mine! any suggestions grateful! i can't find this model on pioneer website though!
