The Voager 10v I have, connected in Router mode seems to disconnect every 24 hours showing Authentication Failure on the interface. A warm restart fixes it. My Netgear router is still connected and functions normally and can maintain connectivity for 6 months between re-starts.

This Voyager problem has happened now for the last couple of days. I can't locate any logging on the device so it is difficult to diagnose.

As this Forum is the best HelpDesk I've ever found can anyone out there think of a reason why this should be happening?

Does the same thing happen if you connect it in Bridge Mode?

I've also got a 10V and mine seems rock solid. I had it in Router mode when I first set it up but I didn't like it in between my pc and the network/outside world so changed it to Bridge mode. Now it's completely out the way I forget it's even there.
Had it for a few weeks now, leave it on all the time and it's not crashed once.

It all appears sorted now.

I think it was because I was also in the middle of my BT ADSLMax upgrade process and their automatic line testing was crashing my Netgear and the Voyager appeared to be the culprit as it was installed right at the beginning of this period. The clue was that the crashes were spaced about 24hrs apart (almost exactly).

Now I'm synched at the 8Mbps and getting downstream speed in excess of 6.5Mbps (hard wire connection).

Many thanks for the offer of help, though.

Cheers!
