typing "Tracey Cole - Anyone Of Us" into the Mozilla search engine (Netscape powered by Google) i found this....

Yes, it's another cheap, tacky Almighty cover version. But wait, this is better than the original. Instead of Gareth Gates's wide-eyed, gap-toothed, slack-jawed crooning on his current number one, we have some gutsy bird giving it her all. Where Gareth manages to make this tale of infidelity sound like a love song, the Almighty Definitive remix pushes forward lines like "Giving into temptation". And repeating all the way through is a line that seems designed to make more sense when off your face at the RVT, "Must have altered my senses". Okay, so this was never meant to stand up to over-analysis, but it is a rare case of the Almighty cover being less flimsy than the original.”

the way i read it is that gates did the original and Tracey covered it

If tracey covered it how come we never heard of her then???????

Gareth Gates career will be short lived anyways because Popstars:the rivals is here and in 2 weeks Fame Academy will start

When I found out this was to be gareth gates new single I thought oh no. But you have got to listen to it. it is such a brilliant version - I mean really really good. ”

Sorry GG but I have to disagree with you. This is one of my favourite songs but Gareth's version is awful. As someone else mentioned it is really bland and quite dull.....

I think it is fairly awful, it also doesn't leave much of an impression. Some friends and I were too busy laughing at the video to pay much attention to the song, the video is truly awful yet hilarious at the same time. I keep hearing the original track as well, and I much prefer that.

I'd have more respect for Gareth, Will and their management if they actually produced something original. Between them there has been one original track, and that was a barely played double A side to another cover. *sigh*

Going off topic, but it interests me how some of the 'losers' of Popstars/Pop Idol are doing better than the winners. I mean, LibertyX are doing pretty well, and some of the Pop Idol losers are at least coming out with some original tracks. Let's hope Fame Academy brings us something different, and not another rehash of the same old thing.
