Disc finishing software

Anyone know If there is any disc finishing software for the PC? The 6 cheesey templates you get on the 530 just aren't doing it for me anymore.

Hi

There is no software that will finalise the disc recorded in a Pioneer DVD Recorder.

Your best bet is to record to a DVD-RW disc and import all the video using something like DVD MovieFactory Disc Creater 4 or DVD MovieFactory 5 then create a DVD and burn to DVD-R/+R

Sounds like there's a market for something with a dozen or so sensible templates (preferbaly importable) that can finish a DVD. Suspect other manufacturers patrons are having similar problems?!

You can't just finish the DVD in a PC as until it is finalised the format is peculiar to that manufacturer and even model.

Software like DVD MovieFactory already does the best it can and has animated menu's etc in the latest version and is very easy to use.

Still sounds like a long old affair Phil. Was 'ideally' looking for something that would look at the contents of the DVD and offer you a menu before finishing ala one of the Pioneer menus. As you say though, probably all proprietory software from one box to another. Shame really

If you are going to waste time reburning and editing on a PC you may aswell not have bothered with the HDD in the dvd recorder.
All for a better menu???

I wasn't thinking of reburning. I was hoping for finishing!
