Ok. I know I'm about a year behind the times with this one. But, I've just discovered The Futureheads version of that classic Kate Bush song "Hounds of Love" and I think it's absolutely amazing!!! This is how cover versions should be done!!

You should check out Kate Bush's original version. It's really excellent. But as I said in my original post, I think The Futureheads version is pretty damn good too.

Goldfinger's version isn't all that great.

It's basically a pop-punk version in English. (Then again, the original was pop-punk if you think about it)

The Futureheads rockz. Their cover of Hounds of Love is great! But of course, no where as near as wonderful as the genius original.

Am still listening to both versions constantly. I think both versions are excellent. Am old enough to remember when KATE originally released it in 1986 and have loved it, and it's parent album, ever since. But, THE FUTUREHEADS version is great too.

I totally agree. I absolutely loved the Hounds of Love cover and had heard so many good things about the album, that I bought it. I've had it since Christmas and I still haven't got into it...

I love the Futureheads version of Hounds Of Love. Apparently Kate Bush herself liked it as well.

I like Goldfinger's version of 99 Red Balloons as well.
