Moto V3 - How do you know you're going into a second text?

I have recently bought a pink v3, but theres one thing thats really annoying me.. it doesnt say when you're going into a second or third text! Ive looked in the manual and I cant find anything about this. Does anyone know how you can identify when you're going into a second text?

Thanks

Oh, I see. Its misleading though, there should be a number at the top indicating what text you're in. I keep going over, but Il try and keep to 293 and see if that works

I thought that a single text was 160 characters long - if I'm right then it should be 290 you stop at not 293.

It starts at maximum 450 characters so do the math and it works out to 290.
