Hi,

Anyone know much about the following Plasma Tv's and the firm thats selling them?

http://homecinema.timeuk.com/value-plasma/

www.timeuk.com

Looks a great deal just wondered about the quality, Anyone agree with me?

Thanks for reading

P.S - I am looking at buying a new tv with either 36" upwards, but looking under £1000. Any recommendations, good deals etc?

Time PCs have always been exceptionally poor (in my opinion) and backed up with a service that matches the quality of their products. Dont know if they have improved over the last few years but.....

There is an extensive thread all about TINY Plasmas over on AV Forums.

Basically, if this was the only plasma left in the world.............buy a radio instead.

Yes avoid like the plague covered in dog doo.....

I think that Time/Tiny should be avoided at all costs due them going bankrupt twice before and leaving many customes with faulty gear or no gear......

The last Plasma that Tiny sold was pretty much useless by all accounts....the free bundled DVD recorders and surround systems weren't much better than a bottom of the range Alba or Craposonic.

as mentioned above, check out the 115 page thread over at the AV forums

this was the 'old' Tiny/Time company that crashed and burned last year not the 'new' Tiny/Time company that curiously is owned by the same people if I recall.
