Yes Friday 19th schedules are up.

BBLB was on late at night on the first night last year.

Yes it has. Channel 4 have had serious problems on Friday nights for years now. They cant risk launching it on a Friday.

I will bet £3.47 that the Friday show won't be highlights...it's got to be something special. I mean, all they'd have to show is the housemates entering...who'll want to see it twice, and in a primetime slot... It's OK on Saturday, because people wouldn't even watch if the house exploded. But Friday would be a waste.

well actually the 15 minutes would be house tour and then 1 hour (50 mins with the breaks) to get the housemates in if there is 18 housemates liek reported then the housemates would ahve approxmatly 3 minutes each to enter the house

The friday night Big Brother launch has always been one of CH4's top highest rating shows of the year. Launchig on a Friday has never been problem before. It has been a huge ratings grabber for the past few years, there's no why reason it wouldn't this year. There is no "risk" at all launching on a Friday.

Theres 16 housemates. The tour would only take 5 or 10 mintues. I reckon they might still extend it.

So i guess with the news coming today that there should be a teaser during Lost tonight?

Bring Back The A-Team
[30/4/2006]
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Bring Back The A-Team will be broadcast on May 18th 2006 on Channel 4. Make sure you tune in if you're in the UK. Dirk Benedict and Dwight Schultz will definitely appear. As the purpose is to reunite the original cast, we'll hopefully see an appearance by Mr. T as well, and possibly Melinda Culea.

Bum - I'm off to see Take That on 18/5 - not missing that I've waited ten years for that. Oh well I guess Skyplus will be busy.

One good thing is that I'm not in work on the Friday.

I will take that bet!

The Friday show will be highlights of the HMs entering the house and of them getting to know each other during the early hours of the morning. It always is.

There's no way on earth that they can get 16 housemates into the house in 1 hour and 15 minutes. The introduction and tour of the house should take about 15 minutes altogether. Then, they're going to have to show each housemates audition video and each housemate entering the house, plus there's adverts as well. I thought last years launch was slightly rushed, but if they try and get 16 housemates into the house in such a tight show then I won't be happy.

I'm glad it's on a Thursday, but I'm hoping they stagger the housemates entrances over to the Friday too - maybe 8 in on Thursday and 8 in on Friday with a little twist too. Please C4, do not try and put 16 housemates into the house in that amount of time.

Couldn't C4 have thought of a better lead-in to the launch than 'Honey I Ruined The House'?

They need a big launch this year. Last years launch on a Friday got nearly 7 million with an average amount of advertising. CBB launched on a Thursday with hardly any advertising and got nearly 8 million. Plus Friday nights now average nearly half what they got this time last year - hence Channel 4 moving things like Derren Brown and Rock School to Sundays.

Yeh, but they've been highly unimaginative in the lead-ins since the last ep of Friends before BB5 launch. I guess it will just need to carry itself again.

Ok looking at the listing again, there is no sign of BBLB. But as BBBM is on later on C4, this probably suggests it will air straight after the C4 show on E4 like last time.

BBLB will probably start on the monday.

Oh and BB Live Launch is repeated on the friday at 7:15.

Yeh BBBM is concerning me slightly. It's on Thursday and Friday before midnight on Channel 4?

This is some weird scheduling.

EDIT: I see what they are doing. It's just taking up the first 30 mins of live streaming rather than the last 30 mins.

I think this could be the repeat, after it`s been on E4.

So does that "Love Stories" special on launch night indicate that BB7 is competing with CLI by trying to contrive some love action in the house?

16 housemates, all single, attractive and up for it!

Some of you will be reaching for the bucket.
