Liteon DVD all media writer

I noticed that Liteon have introduced a DVD writer that will read and write DVD RAM

Does this mean that if I record something onto a Panasonic RAM disc using a Panny stand alone recorder, and then put it into the Liteon drive on computer, will it then be able to copy the data using the right software of course to say DVD- or + r discs?

And also I noticed on the spec that it is ok for windows 98 S.E but the processor power it recommended was 1.3 GHZ, mines is only a 1GHZ, would that make a difference?

what type of proccessor is it and how much ram have you got?

It is an AMD Athlon proccessor, and I have 256MB of RAM
