I've just received the third message containing a joke from 80211. I've not ordered or sent a text asking for them. Also i'm charged well over a pound a message for them.

Surely its not allowed.cost me over £3 in credit and doesn't tell me how to end them. anyone had this or know how to stop them or even how to complain??

P.S Sorry if this is in the wrong forum

Problem is, I'd be worried that texting them back would validate your number (in the same way that responding to email spam validates your email address), and then you'd suddenly get flooded with them!

This is the main flaw with being able to make money from sending texts - people abuse it - all they need to do is somehow find out thousands of mobile phone numbers and send them messages and rake in the money. The law should stipulate that you can only ever be charged for OUTGOING messages and calls.
