Suggestions for ultra cheap DVD player?
I'm after something as cheap as possible but which will play VCDs and SVCDs recorded onto CD-R.
Anyone got any suggestions? |

if u have a pc at home, install a dvd drive for £20! voila. (and if you have tv out, then even better.)
Otherwise, try to get down to a cash convertors.. i saw a decent one in there the other day for £50. Failing that, get one of those from £79 - £99 machines from a supermarket or asda... most of those are vcd/cdr compatible... dunno about svcd tho. |

Ended up with an Alba 108, £70 from Argos. Plays SVCDs, is multiregion, and picture looks great on my 28-inch widescreen. Box is nice, small and metal and doesn't feel cheap and nasty at all. A bargain!
