Hey, a Star Wars theme! As there was in the support for Sam BB6.

but

I'm encouraged by our success in changing minds about Imogen but, at the same time, discouraged by how hard it was.

Without someone like bluntbob who watched a lot of live BB and had a good memory, and without him and others being willing to make numerous, and sometimes long, posts patiently setting out the case, the change wouln't have happened, imo.

You've little to complain about. I'm C-3PO, yet I started this thread that has provided you all with a home.

I notice there has been a little disquiet at the roles you've given everyone Buckley25. For me though its's an honour just to be considered for a part alongside such luminaries of the forum. And it's a speaking part! I'd have been happy with a non speaking role. Beepchirpchirpwhistlebeepwhistlewhistlechirpwhistle whistlebeepbeepwhistlewhistlechirpbeep. (R2-D2 - Thank you.)

Wow!. Can't believe you remembered that. And then found it! Even I had trouble recalling it from the dusty recesses of my brain. Hmmm, maybe I should visit there more often? Who knows what I might find?

Can't beat that bluntbob. The best I could come up with was the sequel to Empire, "Return of the Welsh Smile".

The problem Imogen has is she took money to do a grubby kiss'n' tell on Anthony Costa.

Unfortunately, it looks like the only way to support her there is to say you want her back for BB8, and I don't want any HMs from past series to be brought back, not even Imogen.

I suppose its because my mind is full of useless information which makes me such a good BB Nerd.

(I enjoyed reading that post at the time which is why I remembered it from the 'Angels' thread )

What about "Return of the Welsh Beauty Queen" ?............ HERE

Imogen looks sooooooo young in that photo almost like a different person with that square jaw line.

My guess is she's 18 or 19 years old?....Anyway my money is on No.14 as a STAR to watch for the future.

Why is it Imogen's problem? She just went to the press and told the truth about her relationship with Anthony.

In fact you'll find Anthony Costa has the problem because he thought he could go to the press and deny the whole affair in a vain attempt to get back with his ex-girlfriend Adele Silva. This proves Anthony is not the innocent party in this case but someone who thought he could have his cake and eat it. I personally think he deserved everything he got in the press and glad that Imogen has now kicked him to the kerb.

.

I was once told that the useless information I knew filled all the empty space in my head and stopped my thoughts echoing around my brain. Thankfully I know a lot of rubbish......rubbish.....rubbi...rubb...ru..r.

I see you even remembered the thread that that 'Wars' post came from. What a mind! (Insert your own 'scary' smilies here.)

Some people look worse as they get older (looks in mirror and sadly shakes head at reflection) whilst others get better looking. A newspaper isn't the best source for a picture I know, but I think Imogen is in that later group. From the other younger (and always beautiful) photos I've seen of her she is maturing beautifully, like a good (£2.80 from the Co-op) wine.

I agree Imogen is someone who grows into their features over time and more beautiful by the day. I'm not saying she looked bad in that old beauty pagent photo, on the contrary I think she looks rather cute (in a chipmunk kind of way ). You can't beat a £2.80 vintage from the Co-op but these days she's more like a £5.50 Chardonnay from Tescos. Who knows by the age of 40 she could be the most expensive Champagne from Harrods.

I remember seeing some pics of Ims promoting a charity for testicular cancer. They must have been taken not long after she won Miss Wales. She can't have been more than 20..just! Sitting on a space hopper with a base ball cap on. cute as a button.

I think a lot of FMs had already vested a lot of emotional interest in their own faves to start giving Ims any credit.
If all the caring things Ims did in the house is acknowleged then their fave isn't the 'most' caring. If Ims is right in certain situations then it means their faves were wrong in those situations. If It's acknowleged that Ims showed strength and wisdom in lots of situations then their faves weren't 'always the most wisest' . If Ims advised certain housemates she wasn't really a weak housemate who was a follower their 'percieved' strong favorite housemate...etc etc.
Some of it (to me) seemed to be about FMs protecting the 'perception' of their own faves. I'm not convinced that all her critics completely missed 'everything' she did and said.
The old chestnut - "I watch loads of live feed and Imogen is just as boring!" always seemed like bullsh*t to me, especially since I witnessed so many good points not only from her but from so many of the so called 'villains' of the series.

A few photos from the Testicular Cancer event are on the BrunoPress site. (Sorry though that I can't post a link to them. Can never get links working to that site. )

Nearly wore out my mouse button working all the way through those Rex pictures. Some of them brought back some pleasant memories too.

As Imogen pictures seem to be the order of the day have you seen these unpublished ones from her OK! shoot at the start of the year?

Thanks for posting these grooose, I've not seen any of these. There's some really stunning pics in there. I especially like the overhead shots of her lying on the ground. Breathtaking.

*Edit*-She looks damn sexy in that gold rain coat too!

I've found that photo of Imogen on a Space Hopper and your right she does look cute Bouncing up and down.

I also found this photo of Imogen holding up two Hoppers to signify a pair of balls or perhaps Lea's breast implants.
