There's not much effort invovled and it's a nice way to pass some time. Some nice memories come flooding back too. Shame live feed recordings can't do the same.

The hunt for Imogen's 'Holy Grail of Stolen Moments' continues I'm afraid. A legend to some maybe, but a quest that will pass down from generation to generation.

Day17 & Day20

Ahhhh! When they chopped out Imogen's words of wisdom to Lea when she was upset about H.
You could turn this into a game Grooose! - 'Name the deleted 'Imo Info'!.
Host - "For 2 points - How did BB bullsh*t about Imogen in this clip?"
Contestant - "I name that deleted Imo Info as......"

"I can name the deleted Imogen info in three frames."

"For the maximum 10 points....I'll name it one!"

Here's an intresting segment of the highlights: Big Brother UK 2006 - highlights show 37 part 6. (Thanks, Stentionhouse) There so many significant or typical things in this! (imo)

At the start, Nikki's wearing a trash bag, for some reason. Susie and Richard were talking about food, then Richard starts talking to Nikki, teasing that he could call her a trashbag now, then saying she looks stylish etc.

Next: Glyn and Imogen talking in Welsh. It seems to be about Lea and Ash. Glyn suggests it's jealousy, because both fancy Pete. Imogen says she just wants to have fun, has fun with the guys and doesn't need to be with girls; she's 23, not 3.

Then Ash and Lea talking while Ash washes things in the bathroom sink. It's the day they'd clashed earlier, and this is the talk in which Ash says she'd "misread" Lea. (I've sometimes thought it was "misjudged", but it's "misread", which will do.)

Richard in the DR saying Ash and Lea are probably two of the worst culprits for bitching behind backs and it's come back to bite them, they're worried about what the other has said. He then complains about Aislyene's movement to try to become one of the Plastics with Imogen and Nikki. (Yes, the same NIkki he was shown being so nice to earlier. ) He thinks that's upset the balance and (also) has come back to get her.

The bedroom. Imogen and Ash. Ash says Lea said you lot took the p*** out of me when I first came in here. (Lea said that in part 5.) Imogen: "What?!" and "you'll see the footage". ... Ash continues while Imogen listens. ... Ash says she feels strongly about her convictions and what she said but 5 minutes talking to her (Lea) and my head's in a head-f*** again. Imogen says Lea told her that she'd persuaded you to be friends with me. Ash, a bit shocked: No! She's such a twister! Then: This is like a breath of fresh air talking to you because it's straight. ...

Later, in the now dark bedroom, Imogen and Mikey in adjacent beds talk of whether they remember dreams. ... Cut to Glyn and Aisleyne in the lounge. ... Back to Imogen and Mikey. They touch fists. ... Glyn and Ash. Ash says there's a lot of people in the house who feel exactly the same as her, they just won't open their mouth. And she's not scared of no one, of no f***er. People are scared of gettin' nominated out, that's what it is.

Cue theme tune, voting instructions, and we're done.

I think one of the most interesting things about that clip is the first viewer comment underneath it.

But they couldn't have Imogen's chat because they had already shown Nikki's chat with Lea! And seeing Imogen instigate her supportive chat with Lea would have gone against the negative reaction Imogen had had to hearing about Lea's upset earlier. Much better for BB to leave the impression Imogen was cold towards Lea whilst Lea was reaching out to Imogen.


As it happens I've just been watching that prior to capping it myself. Highlights show 37 confused me for a while (not that difficult at the best of times ) as it's actually from day42 in the house. Any point uploading it myself now when it reaches the head of the cue at the edit table?

Wonder if this next clip is out there anywhere? It was sat between clips from day17 and day20. I don't remember recording it, and as this is the full extent of what remains on the tape it does kind of make me feel a little pervy. My intentions were strictly honourable at the time, it's just unfortunate the evidence doesn't look that way now!

Ahh! Thanks for that Buckley25. You remembered my little Miss Mop peccadillo. Well, I think that thanks are in order. I'd hoped that piece of information had been swept under the carpet by now.

No new youtube stuff today. Not much hope for tomorrow either. Got relatives staying for the weekend so there's lots of boozing and schmoozing and no computer using. So I'm not really here now and there must be an imposter about. Well that's my story and I'm sticking to it!

Been catching up on the goings on in the DS universe over tha last few days. Just finished the thread about Aisleyne's radio show on Thursday as I missed it.

Anyway the thread reporrts that Aisleyne had just done a photo shoot with (a stunning) Imogen, Anoushka and Saskia for the Star. Looking forward to seeing that.

Also mentioned is that Aisleyne is taking Imogen to the UMA's in New York. I wonder if that is a fulfilment of something they arranged while in the BB house? I seem to have this memory of a trip to NY being talked about. Aisleyne might even have hinted at it in her message to Imogen in the BB Year Book. Any one else remember something along those lines or is my mind playing tricks on me again?

I bet Imogen and Aisleyne aren't the only ones looking forward to the NY trip. Truffles will love it. With Imogen out of town he'll be having all the top cats over to PARRTYYY

Nice to see there's an Imogen Appreciation thread She was my favourite of BB7. I didn't like her at all to begin with but weeks later she came across as one of the very few normal down to earth people, not self-obsessed or anything. She was really funny with the DJ task and the australia prank and I liked her friendship with Aisleyne because it was one of the only genuine ones, I thought. I think she was left out a lot in the editing when she really was a good housemate so she got called boring, but she actually had one of the best and most enjoyable eviction interviews, and I mean out of any series of BB not just BB7.

And it's also nice to hear she and Ash are still friends

Imogen was my favourite HM too and I really missed those down to earth qualties during the last week of BB7, when both Ash & Glyn needed that steadying presence she brought to the house. I also very much enjoyed her sense of humour and the way she was always up for pranks with other HMs and willing to make fun of herself with Aisleyne as this photo demonstrates . I think its very sensible of Ash to take Imogen to New York because she has already been there many times and will know her way around. I also remember Imogen saying that she had a lot of friends living there so they wont have any problems finding a place to stay. I also think Imogen will keep Ash out of trouble and stop her punching any more walls.

After the enforced break over the weekend I've got some more youtube stuff ready. That's if it's still wanted. I have to say though that the break was actually quite nice as I was starting to feel a bit like a stalker. That's the last thing I want to feel about Imogen.

Nice pictures on her myspace of Imogen in action at the recent soccer six event. And she scored a goal. Big cheer. (Wavy lines, wavy lines) I can see Imogen scoring the winner in the Women's FA Cup Final next year. (Wavy lines, wavy lines) Oh, sorry. Did I type that out loud. I wandered off into a daydream there. OK, so next year's too soon. Maybe the year after then.

Imogen's not flavour of the day

Was going to give this an alternate title, "Lisa goes to say she don't want none. Imo says No, No, No." A couple of things I noticed about this when putting it together. One was the way Richard imitates Imogen's tone of voice as she gets a little stressed by the situation that's developed. Something he would take to an even more extreme level with Lisa later in the week. What I really liked though was seeing Glyn's comforting gesture to Imogen. It just made me go arhh.

It was interesting to watch that followed immediately by the "bath night protocol". "Imogen's not flavour" is the one where Ash says Mikey's game is being aware of the cameras; and in "bath night protocol", Ash shows how aware of them she is. I'd forgotten just how ... annoying Richard and Ash were during their "observing" period. "People" are playing a game. But not R and A, oh no.

The "Lisa - here comes trouble" is interesting too, but I'll take that up in another thread.

Now for "golden nomination nerves" and more memories.

Yeah I remember those "Mikey's gameplan" and "Imogen's Fake!" conversations between Ash and Richard..
I also remember those conversations were broadly viewed as not bitching but "perceptive" "just speaking the truth" and "hitting the nail on the head!"
I also remember them rushing out and confronting Mikey and Imogen with these views to their faces.....oh that's right my memory fails me...they didn't!..They were talking about miss Dynamite and soul singers!

Yup! Both girls didn't trust each other at the beginning (which is fair enough) but Ims got the hostile backlash!

Also I have to mention one of my fave Imogen clips...The Imo and Grace conversation about not being fake toward Susie.
The timing of when Ims says..."I am sh*tting it though!" at the end followed by Grace's "Me too babe!"
Pure comedy!

Only got time for a quick comment before going out. Imogen looks stunning. Like the caption to some of the photos, "Imogen Thomas was asked what her special talent was where she replied 'Kick Boxing' and started a few dangerous moves against the photographers..." (As I type this one of those pictures is being used on WENN's "latest photos" page as the link to the More Party set.) Going by the photo's in the taxi I'd hate to see the state she left the paps in.

Looks like Imogen got a battle scar on her leg in that taxi cab (which I was quite happy to examine at great detail!). Maybe Ash should take note! If you need to show off your skills avoid walls and beat up the paps!
