BB7 final. Swap Nikki for Imogen, a situation that many would have in fact viewed as fair considering the outrage shown towards the HM's return scenario. Do we still have the 5th placed contestant?

I reckon perhaps yes! But would Imogen as a finalist have taken a considerable amount of votes away from either Aisleyne or Glyn?

I think she would have given Richard a run for his money in Fourth place, with the Welsh vote behind her ofcourse.

The final was a positive vote after all.

Well I do remember the night before Grace's eviction the three Girls (Imogen, Lisa, Grace) all had a bath together with Glyn. This never made the HLs but I remember the girls telling Glyn that they wanted him to win BB7 and not Pete. Grace then said if she left the next day she would be supporting him on the outside. I also remember them chanting WALES, WALES over and over again to the great amusement of the other HMs listening in the bedroom.

She would definitely have finished above 5th I suspect, although the last week had a huge bearing on the final - who's to say with her there the whole fabric of the house may have changed and she could have finished 6th or just as easily 4th! I think the big 3 were pretty unsurpassable.

Really?? I never saw any of that Well that does explain things somewhat. I remember them both mentioning that they sang together a lot too. Just goes to show that you only see the story line that BB wants to promote to the press, not what's really going on. Pah lol

I also like the way Imogen & Glyn got the other HMs to say 'Nos Da' to each other before they went to bed.

I thought that was really cute too.

Aw that's sweet 'Nos Da' (Good night) is one of the phrases that has really caught on on the Glyn site too

Anyway, on that note I will say to you Nos da Pawb. If I hear of any more Imogen news via the Glyn site I will let you know. Thanks for making me feel so welcome Hwyl

Not a lot of Imogen in the first part of this one. It's mainly a lesson in not mixing your drinks. The second half is better. (Before you say it Buckley25 yes it is Miss Mop in her summer outfit. )
Got a hangover, then get scrubbing

Next is a bit of live feed relating to the scrubbing task that managed to survive. I put the tape in while I did something else so that I could watch the result of the task 10 minutes later. When I came back I found they had gone to adverts and announced the results during them. So I missed t anyway. Shame BB cut the sound.
Waiting for the result

Not sure what it is about this next clip but somehow I get the feeling Imogen doesn't like Richard. And maybe Richard's fed up with Imogen's company too. Pay attention to the cut after Glyn says "...sometimes they blank one out."
4up - day45

Finally three different aspects of life in the house. (Strangely this was cobbled together using three different video players. Not one player would play it all back properly.)
Some reassure. Some chill. Some bitch.”

Great job.
Watching those clips (even though they're only highlight clips) reinforced why Imogen was my ultimate favourite HM last year and why her story engaged me so much throughout the summer.
So glad she was in the house. It would have been a much poorer experience without her there IMO.

Want some more youtube stuff? Well it's coming whether you like it or not. I'm enjoying messing around on the computer too much to stop now anyway. Like a kid at Christmas playing with a new toy.

And yes I've stilll got a life away from the computer screen. This stuff doesn't really take that long to do. After all BB has already done most of the (bad ) editing work.

First up is the passing of the milk task. No need to worry yourself Imogen you were brilliant. It was the first time I'd watched BB all night. Well worth it.
Milk task is passed - Day42

Next is the rest of day42. As Lea is losing it in the kitchen keep an eye on Imogen. They seek her here, they seek her there. That damned elusive Im-o-gen. Listen carefully to the end of the part with Imogen listening to Lea in the bedroom. As Imogen gets up to leave she says "Try and talk." I doubled the volume from BB's original level on that section and you can still miss it.
After passing the milk task Lea's lost it - Day42 continues

This next one (day43) contains a brief glimpse of Imogen's favourite(?) party in the house. The Karaoke party. Watching it live, even without sound, it looked liked Imogen was having a ball. I was looking forward to seeing Imogen's duets with Susie and Glyn. Yes. With sound! No such luck though. This clip ends with something that isn't grass. Love Imogen's reactions. And on the live feed Richard did catch her and stick it to her arm!
A dream. Suggestions. Party. That's not grass!

Well if you put that way I suppose I can't really refuse.
Then again when have I ever refused a chance to look at more Imogen on Youtube = Never

If you still have life left away from the computer now.....then prepare to lose it all once BB8 begins.

I love Imogen's reaction when she finds out that she has passed the Milk task. But you have missed out the best bits of her actually letting the milk out during the night, and the sly little grins after making up some silly excuse about why it was happening. Its really unfortunate that for once on the HLs Imogen was the 'Star' of the show and everybody was grouped around to congratulate her moment of glory, but then its all spoiled by Lea who storms off to the DR to have a cry and a moan about Ash. (What a drama junkie! )

Here we see Imogen as Mediator which was another important role she played in the house. Watch how Imogen listens patiently to other HMs problems before offering her advice, and then watch as the other HMs stop and listen to her because she is the quiet voice of reason. Where is all this 'yes babe' & 'No babe' nonsense that we have to suffer from Imogen detractors on this Forum. There is no evidence of it on these clips - another myth dispelled thanks to Grooose.

I remember watching that Karaoke party on LF and your right they all had such fun that night. I also remember Imogen running around the garden from Richard screaming her head off and then running inside to Susie for protection. I have only just realised while watching that clip that Imogen is actually wearing her eviction outfit for the first time, and there was me thinking she had put that ensemble together at the last moment.

P.S. I'm liking the titles for your clips......the more bizarre the better in my book.

Great clips. Imogen was fab.
I think she was also a "rock" for Aisleyne and Glyn (i like all 3), I really doubt either of them would have done as well as they did if Imogen wasnt there as she really looked out for them.

Hi nannar6 & anna123, sorry I'm so slow in responding to your individual posts but I was off writing a verrrry lonnnnng message on another thread.(I'm totally knackered now ) Anyway, its great to hear that you both enjoyed watching Imogen on BB7 as much as I did. I just wish Endemol had given us a bit more of Imogen in the HLs and showed her growing friendships with Glyn & Aisleyne in more detail. It was obvious for all to see how much Imogen meant to them both when she was finally evicted from the HND in week 12. With poor Aisleyne collapsing to the floor and crying her eye's out which I believe was genuine and not acting as some people might suggest. Even Glyn confessed later in his interview with Dermot that he started to have panic attacks after Imogen left because he really missed her reassuring presence. In fact that is how I felt watching the last week, it was as if the life went out of BB7 completely and we had to suffer the Nikki & Pete show instead. Anyway lets not be too sad about it because she is doing so well now with her modeling career and television work with Glyn on S4C.
And as the saying goes 'The World Is Her Oyster' or is that too cliche. ((((((

That's one of the times I find it hardest to give Aisleyne the benefit of the doubt. (See for example here.) But I wouldn't say it was acting, exactly, more exaggerating or deliberately getting into a state. Still, I don't doubt that her friendship with Imogen was important to her.

I've made preparations to once again lose my life to the curse of BB. Just like preparing for an approaching hurricane or nuclear war I've got my stockpiles of food and drink ready to hand in my TV bunker. I'll leave the toilet arrangments to your imagination.

However I'm ever hopeful that I won't get so caught up in the BB universe again this year. How many times can a man run to the defence of Princesses in galaxies far far away? I quess if I'm called into action again it'll just be a case of use the force Grooose. Use the force.

I could kick myself for not having any of that. Ouch! There you go, told you I could. The HL show with that in didn't survive, or maybe wasn't even recorded because I'd seen it live. Because I stayed up to watch all that spilt milk live I didn't record it then either.

Did you catch Imogen's "Try and talk" as she left Aisleyne and Lea alone? I think that, and Imogen knowing when to give them privacy, was the spark that helped get them talking. I still wonder why BB left that so quiet, or didn't subtitle it. But I could probably guess.

I agree that Imogen does that, but where do you think it is happening in that clip? I don't think it fits either of the long talks it shows her having (with Glyn in Welsh, with Ash about Lea). It does show her listening to Lea, though.

It may have helped, but Ash seemed to have already decided to change her approach.

Perhaps the video players were allergic to Lea and Richard. It's annoying to see Lea laughing at Richard's obnoxious comments about Imogen, and joining in, especially when Imogen was nice to her earlier.

I agree. Also what's cool is that the clips (when isolated and rolled together) gives a better picture Imogen's complete boredom and fustration of the histrionics of the other females and her own rationality when dealing with situations.
She was such a refreshing and pleasant contrast.

Here I go again. More stuff uploaded to youtube.

First up is the day after the night before. A very good question from Imogen to Nikki. Who didn't want to ask her that at some point? Then it's on to Aisleyne's liitle enforced holiday from the house. (This will return at some point in the future with a slightly different edit.)
What's going on with your head? Move Aisleyne

A short clip next. Have you all had sandwiches?
A sandwich short of a picnic.

After the sandwiches anyone fancy strawberries and cream? Another BB task. Just nice seeing Imogen and Aisleyne standing there together again.
New balls please - Day53 pt1

The final clip for now. (After all that talk of food I'm hungry and off to feed myself.) It all starts with a nice bit of dirty dancing. Imogen's initial response to Aisleyne coming to the outside kitchen always makes me smile. It's all in the delivery. The part with Spiral's upset with Nikki was left in on purpose. As he is explaining himself to Nikki you can catch a glimpse of Imogen in the mirrors as she goes up to talk to Richard. I wonder if this approach can be traced back to the party, on day50, held before Lea's exit? Then Richard had made a speech saying something about the HM's putting differences behind them and he cited his favourite saying. Communication. For a few days after Lea's eviction I noticed that Imogen would, from time to time, make the effort and go and talk to Richard. But he never really followed his own advice and didn't appear to give her the feedback that he was interested. So the cold war remained for another few weeks.
