I think your possibly misinterpreting what I'm saying.

I was making the point that during BB7 Imogen attracted a lot of vitriol and had many that strongly disliked her, but that going by the poll history seemed to have treated her rather kindly. I wasn't saying that she wasn't strongly disliked at the time, just that she didn't have many that strongly disliked her on the poll (2008).

By contrast, those who had held her in high regard during BB7 still appeared to do so. That's not always the case, as people often with hindsight amend their views on housemates.

I don't think any of that contradicts your point.
Hi Nagel.
I think objectivity goes out the window during the series as people are emotionally involved while its on. Afterwards it's a bit easier to look at things with fresh eyes and see the importance or function of various housemates even though it wasn't clear at the time.....although that only happens sometimes!

The subtitles didn't appear to be available tonight when I watched it via the website. (The subtitle button on the player being greyed out.) But the same thing happened with the Imogen/Glyn documentary last year. The subtitles were added to it a few days later and I hope they follow the same pattern with this show.

I might not have understood all that was going on tonight but I still really enjoyed the show. So I'll definitley be looking out for the subtitles to appear.
I have to admit I'm not the sharpest when it comes to technological things and so I couldn't help thinking I might be missing something.

But I agree with you, even though I also didn't understand all that was going on I could still follow the jist of it and still enjoyed it. Like bluntbob, I just thought it was great to see the real Imogen back on our screens. It reminded me why I was so drawn to her during the summer of 2006 and why for me she was that year's compelling housemate.

A lovely girl, a beautiful face and a fantastic voice (I didn't need the subtitles to appreciate any of that ). The best accent/voice ever to be on BB IMO.

I couldn't understand a word but could sort of figure out what was going on! Good to see 'Imogen' again...what I mean by that is it's good to see the person again rather than random photos and articles. Imogen's mum was funny. Typical mum!
Absolutely! It felt like she'd never been away. And who'd have thought I'd get so much enjoyment from so little understanding!

Thought Imogen's Dad was great too! (Hope I've got the right!) Did he really compare her to Del Boy at the end of the show. Really can't wait to read those subtitles!

(Hope it's OK bluntbob, but I've just passed on your post about the Dead Set trailer to Imogen's forum. A great spot like that should be given an even wider audience.)

And without doubt the best laugh!!

I've always found the "real Imogen" so much more attractive than the one we see in the lads mags and and articles.
Underneath all the tosh we see and read about her, the girl we all 'fell for' during bb7 is still there Trouble is, i have a horrible habit of jumping-the-gun, and believe everything i read in the tabloids and mags, then i start slagging her off saying how much she's let herself down etc

As Delboy might say...WHAT A PLONKER I AM!

Don't know if this has been posted already as I've just dived in to post this without reading, but there is a show just about to start on S4C called 'Salon Imogen'. It's about Imogen setting up her nail bar

Thanks doodle for popping in and reminding us that a repeat is on tonight.

For those who watched it online you'll find subtitles are now available. So it's worth a repeat viewing for you too.

And having now seen it with subtitles I'm quite surprised at just how much information I was able to get from my first viewing. Nice show, even second time around.

Very difficult times to be setting up your own business......This documentary proves that Imogen is not the millionaire that some had suggested she was. She`s obviously put her heart and soul into this project and by all accounts is involved in the day to day running of her Salon......So if you want to meet Imogen, book an app`t at her Salon and go and see her at work.

It's good to see Imogen's thread up at the top of the page for a change. I've always felt that she was not rated as highly as she deserved .... even back in the BBH she was much more involved than many seemed to think. I've always got the impression that Imogen has put a lot into living life and that she has been very committed to Wales, and I admire her for those sort of things in particular.

Here's a little video montage that I saw once on a website, and luckily saved, before the site then disappeared for a revamp. The site never returned fully, so the video was 'lost'. A few weeks ago I put it on youtube.

Safe in it's quiet youtube corner, it was ready to bring out on a rainy day when Imogen news was thin on the ground. But now Buckley's brought it out into the open on Imogen's site it's time to post it here too. Just brief glimpes of the Miss Wales contest, Lidl advert, interviews, Imogen in the park and still photos. It's all set to music so you don't get to hear Imogen, but it's quite a nice little thing non the less.
Imogen Thomas - A showreel

Must be time soon for Imogen to be in Closer again with a piece on that exercise/diet thingy they had her on. She said she's lost a stone!

Anyone planning Christmas gifts yet? Imogen's put together some gift packs to sell in the salon. She says they're gorgeous and would be great stocking fillers. So you know where to go for those important little gifts.

On a sadder note Macauley/Buckley has had his Imogen Thomas- Birthday Treat slideshow removed from youtube for copyright reasons. When the time came to do the dirty deed I hope they treated it with the respect it deserved.

Thanks for sharing the showreel with us all, Groose. It's very good and I enjoyed watching it.

A good choice of musical accompaniment as well I thought.

Here's pictures from the set of Dead Set.

I think Aisleyne and Imogen have the best response and I remember along with quite a few of you being rather impressed by Imogen's acting skills when the housemates acted out a version of the Jerry Springer show to amuse themselves during BB7. Unfortunately however, like most of Imogen's best moments it never made the highlights show. She was much better than Mikey's scouse Jerry Springer at any rate.

From the pics I have to say it's very heartwarming to see the closeness of bond Imogen and Aisleyne obviously still very much enjoy.

BTW, on the topic of the Imogen's Nails documentary, I have to say I was quite impressed by her boyfriend. I didn't know much about the guy beforehand except that he was a footballer.

As such and no doubt armed with quite a few prejudices I expected the worst. I thought he might be some flash Harry type with little in the way of substance. Basically some very shallow cliche of a guy.

But instead I thought he came across as rather unassuming and you can't fault him for the support he showed her in helping her paint the salon etc. (I would have thought emotional support as well)

He seemed an OK guy.........in fact maybe she's found the one! (I just hope that's not too painful for some of the guys on here ).

IMOGEN ALERT!!!

Finally got round to watching a recording of the first of the ALL NEW GENSERATION SEX shows.

To my great surprise, cos nobody mentioned it, Imogen was on the show!

If any one else is in this fine Saturday night, and reads this in time, they can watch a repeat at 11pm on FIVER.

I'm sorry to hear that Imogen has closed her Cardiff nail bar already ... it sounds as if perhaps her heart was not in being an employer .... perhaps she could have provided the basic nail bar and rented space to self employed nail technicians etc? I wonder what she'll be doing now, will she rely on her modelling work? Whatever, I hope she's not feeling to low about the closure of the nail bar.

A great shame Nails didn't work out. But it's always a risk starting up in business. Still proud of her for giving it a try though. Anyway... here's to better things to come.

So did you see Imogen today, bopping along with other BBers, Shipwreckers and Hollyoakers, on T4 is 10. Looked like a nice bit of fun. And a way to catchup with the Rachel, Glyn, Ash, and Pete too. Loved Steve Jones arranging for a little 'Welsh Maffia' on the dancefloor at one point too.

Imogen has been appearing on screen a bit recently. There's the new series of Generation Sex,
all new Gen Sex
that Russell and Ross: What The...... show,
Russell and Ross: What The....
and over the weekend a new show for S4C, Bwrw'r Bar.

"Bwrw'r Bar is a panel show with a difference. The series will be full of all the fun and excitement of sports and the autumn rugby internationals, as well as physical challenges. Imogen Thomas and Rhydian Roberts are two of the familiar faces who will join the captains this week."

Moving away from TV and Imogen's got a Zoo Christmas shoot coming up. Sure to warm people on those cold December nights.

I'll leave now with a different way of looking at Imogen. An experiment to see if I could get to grips and work with Paint Shop Pro that was never intended for public eyes. It had even been deleted, but it recently resurfaced as I recovered stuff from a 'dead' hard drive. After deciding to post it in Imogen's forum I thought I should do the same here.
So... sunglasses at the ready?....

Time to post an article from this weekends Sun.

Nicola McLean celebrated the fact that her new boobs were one years old whilst on I'm A Celeb. So naturally the Sun went on a quest to find the age of some other celebrity boobs. With Imogen coming in with a couple of bouncing nine month olds.
BoobAge

And as birthdays are in the air it's worth mentioning that Imogen has her birthday on the 29th November. She's been a little flued up recently but hopefully she'll be fully recovered for the big day. So, happy birthday Imogen.
