Imogen at Winter Wonderland”

What a lovely little video. Nice to see the girls just want to have fun. What was that Imogen promised Santa? She's been good? Hope so and he brings her lots of nice prezzies come Christmas.

Couple of links of my own now.

Seems Imogen had been suffering from some dietary woes recently. And missing her Sunday dinner.

Went down a similar road with an ex's grandmother. Apart from being a really nice woman and good company she made the best gravy I've ever tasted. No wonder her husband married her. Never mind her other attributes I'd have married her just to get a daily fix of that gravy! Hmmmmm!!

How's about a bevvy of beauties in black, or a tripple totty treat next? (Sorry!) Here's Imogen, Aisleyne and Chelsea at London's Mayfair.
Imogen, Ash and Chelsea
Imogen...WOW.... stunning.... beautiful.... gorgeous... dazzling.... haha I guess I like the pics.
But why no name check for Chelsea? That's not right.

Interesting gig for Imo coming up....

In the build up to the World Cup, five Wags of top English footballers leave behind their privileged lives to undertake a life-changing journey to understand the reality of daily life in South Africa.

In Wags In South Africa (working title), Chantelle Tagoe (Emille Heskey's partner), Ellie Darby (Matthew Upson's partner), Elen Rivas (Frank Lampard's ex-partner) and Amii Grove and Imogen Thomas, the former girlfriends of Jermaine Pennant and Jermaine Defoe, are faced with the stark reality of the orphan crisis, HIV pandemic and social breakdown that engulfs the country.

First post this year, so.... Happy New Year!

Yeh, interesting topic indeed. Nice news to start the new year off with. Hope there's more through the year and this prog works well for Ims.

Having seen someone had already posted about this prog, thanks Englishspinner, I kept an eye on it during the day as it trickled down through the news people. From the beeb to The Guardian, The Press Association, and then onto Daily Star.

Latest, and more detailed, coverage about it comes from the Daily Mail. Sounding more interesting all the time.

Saw another nice little video of Imogen and Chelsea today. Just a couple of girls enjoying themselves at a New Years Eve party. Unfortunately it was the Katie Price party and she apparently is not too pleased to see the video. It's sparked off a few words from her, and a response from Chelsea.
Party vid
Furious Katie
Have to say when I first saw the video, Katie Price's contribution didn't register that much. I was too busy enjoying that glimpse of two girls enjoying a New Years' party. Katie was just one of the background bit players. Maybe that's one of the problems.

No need to worry, chaps, they're still interested in men - in fact they seem at present to be bewailing an apparent dearth of same - any volunteers??

More Imogen on TV to look forward to. This one's gonna be a little cold and messy, but apparently ultimately victorious. And all for a good cause too.

Some more reports of Imogen's Sporty assault course outing.

Some nice action pictures here.
Mind the make-up

Also plugging Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile in Cardiff here.
A good sport

A couple of weeks ago Imogen had a photo in Zoo's Rude Week pages. With a plug for her South Africa visit, the blurb started - Imogen Thomas. Where. Zoo photoshoot, London. Some new pictures coming??

And in this weeks Zoo there's a place for Imogen in their '100 Hottest Bodies in the World' feature.

But my hottest off the press news comes from todays Sun website. Imogen snapped out with Rav Wilding.
.....Imo's heart sing
The right one? Hope so Imogen. Good luck.

Poor Imogen having to get all messy like that, I would have been happy to do it for her.

Imogen is due to appear in 'Wags, Kids and World Cup Dreams' which starts on BBC3 this Sunday at 9pm.

In it five 'wags' work with deprived kids in South Africa, host country of the World Cup Finals. Two of the projects visited are in Hillbrow, Johannesburg and the shanty town of Khayelitsa outside Cape Town. I've been to both these places, as my sister used to live in Hillbrow. Should be interesting, although the series is attracting controversy already because of its use of glamorous 'wags' to highlight serious issues.

Very short notice, but Imogen's being interviewed on the Trevor Nelson show on BBC 1Xtra this morning. In the next hour or so! To help promote the Wags, Kids and World Cup dreams TV show.

I watched the first two episodes and thought they were very interesting. Predictably the programme has attracted a lot of sneering cynicism/criticism due to the "WAG" background of the five women involved. However I found it most engrossing viewing and think the reactions of the five girls (including Imogen) have been pretty much along the same lines as any five women's would have been, when faced with the sort of poverty and grave social problems they've been confronted with.

Hi Nagel,
Yeah I noticed some sneering criticisms although quite a bit of cynicism directed more so to the producers of the show (eg - using 'sexy wags' to highlight a serious issue) rather than heavy criticism of the Wags themselves who seem to be gaining respect as each show goes by.
Although there maybe a lot of truth to the "sexy girls to sell poverty issues" argument it's probably more about 'the sign of the times' in which people (a big percentage of the media and celeb hypnotized generation) who wouldn't normally watch a documentary about poverty in South Africa (or even be aware of the problems in the world they live in) would be hooked into watching because of the Wags....and then end up learning something in the process!
Good to see Imogen again. She's been a real grafter in the two eps that I've seen so far.

Hi bluntbob! Good to see you again.

Yeah, I agree with all your points and if I'm honest the fact that Imogen and the other Wags were on it made it likelier I'd watch it myself. It was probably the hook but for which it may have become just another programme which I would have felt I should watch, but may well have never got round to actually watching. A case of my social conscience telling me it was the sort of thing I should be informing myself about but laziness unfortunately getting in the way.

As you say, the presence of Imogen et al can only lead to people who wouldn't normally view such a programme watching it and learning about something of an important nature as a result. Something which has to be a good thing.

It is good to see Imogen again and I’m looking forward to the week when it’s her "Wag Story" that's showcased.

Hi Bluntbob.

Some good points as usual.

I must admit that i groaned when i first heard about this show and thought it sounded like something that could have been on Alan Partridge's, Monkey Tennis list
However, i have been pleasantly surprised by the show and as i said in another thread it's good to see an ex BB hm in something serious and thought provoking for a change.

I finally managed to watch the 3rd episode last night -- it was presumably the one shown on Sunday -- and I think it was the best so far, especially from an Imogen point of view. It was interesting that they picked her for the outreach role and nice to see her being a good listener again. (The guy's poem was good too. "Black Badge of Africa", I think it was.)

Indeed. Real human beings disgarded with untapped and ignored talents & skills. It resonates how truly f*cked up the situation is. Also Nice to see Imogen with the kids being all mumsy.
Also....not to buy into stereotypes or anything but blimey! Who'd have thought that gay guys can add "glamour" "swish" & "vavoom" anywhere!.....even a tent made out of rubbish!

She did very well under very trying circumstances. I agree it was her strongest episode yet and she really rose to the challenges they set her.

Agree also about the guy’s poem. It was very good.
