I liked that too.
I don't think I have watched the show if I hadn't noticed Imogen was in it, but I'm glad I did. It's interesting and, in a strange way positive and life-affirming. It's horrendous to see all the wasted talent and potential, but at least it exists and people are trying to preserve it and to help it to flourish. It's amazing how resilient people can be even in terrible circumstances; and I don't think viewers are left in despair but instead thinking something can and should be done.
Also, there's much -- especially in this episode -- that's unexpected. The poet, the two gay guys and their glamour and vavoom, and also: I'd have thought that a place like Twilight would face the problem that too many wanted to get in, with too few places for them; instead, it's a struggle to persuade anyone to go, even for a brief period.
