Couple of bits about Celeb Coach Trip. (5:30 Monday Nov 8 onwards.) With interviews from Bianca Gascoigne and Brendan Sheerin, the guide.
Bianca Brendan Very curious about the arguments. As Imogen did say there'd been a bad day and she'd felt like s^^^. And she didn't like mean people! (But who does?) Will we think, as Bianca does now, why'd they bother? (Btw. T'was nice to read a few weeks back (Bluntbob, Dixon) that maybe I've been kinda missed round these parts. Aah, thanks. I got all emotional and had a painful lump in my throat. ......Or maybe that was just the cold I had. ![]() )

So there I was earlier this evening with a spare half hour or so, and the need to get reaquainted with a program not used in ages. Let's do something Imogen related I thought. With her calendar maybe? So take front and back page images from the web and off we go. Not used youtube for a while either so might as well upload it too. Calendar Girl haha, Kinda wish I hadn't now. Cos while waiting for it to go live I looked round youtube and found a proper Imogen Calendar promo. Better music, sharper images, and video too.... Chelsea Whites' is soooo much better. ![]() Imogen Thomas 2011 calendar photoshoot Quote:
Deffo missed, and thanks for the updates.

![]() ps I bet you are having nightmares after Ricky and Alex flashed..... ![]() ugggh:![]() Liking the show so far. But feel Ims and Bianca are again in a vulnerable position tonight in the voting. Could be seen as an easy voting option for some of them. Although the same could be said of Ricky and Alex. So hope those two go. Wanna see Imogen and Bianca when I get home late from work Friday. That's a good way to start the weekend.

Been enjoying seeing Imogen on our screens again in Celeb Coach Trip.
![]() Like Bianca also, though I hadn't been aware she was a friend of Imogen's (unless they were just put together for the show, which given how comfortable they seem with each other seems unlikely). Not liking Ricky and especially Alex much though and just wish Ben and Raef had taken the opportunity to get rid of the pair of them when presented with it tonight.

Should've been Fiery Imogen, as she's had her hair died red. Although the technical term is mahogany. Looks nice on her too. As seen in this weeks Closer magazine

Yeh. And it does leave the girls firmly in tonights red card firing line. But I guess Ben and Raef are too gentlemanly to go against whatever deal it was that'd been struck. haha Not sure Ricky and Alex would behave the same.
Oh well, it could have been worse and at least it wasn't Imogen and Bianca that were voted off. However with Ricky/Alex and Carol/Ingrid probably now gunning for them I think they could well be out next, unless they manage to get the newbies on their side. Also looks as if Alex's nasty streak may be making an appearance again next week at Imogen and Bianca's expense. |

At the very least I don't think they would have wanted to be seen to have gone back on their word. Unfortunately (from both their and Imogen's POV) it came back tonight to bite them on the backside. I was so wanting Ricky and Alex to go.

Also nice to see Imogen's still firm friends with Aisleyne: still my favourite female friendship from all the BBs.

Made it Ma. Top of the world!
Made it Ma. Top of the world!...... well, top of Africa's the plan.
I posted on the main forum that Imogen has plans to climb mount Kilimanjaro at the end of June. And hopes to raise money for Children's Hospices UK too. For anyone willing to help with the fundraising, donations can be made here http://www.justgiving.com/imogen-thomas Quite a challenge. Good luck with it. Hope nothing comes between Imogen and a view of a lifetime.

Been a tough week for Imogen. Not much appreciation going around. Depreciation seems to be the order of the day. And really she's brought it all down on herself. Sad.
![]() Not sure how I feel about it at all. One moment I want to throttle her, the next hug her. So I'm just gonna leave this open for a while and write the random un-thought out things that pass through my aching brain (got a cold that ain't helping! ) and see if that helps any.Let's get rambling... Very disappointed she got herself involved, and stayed involved, with a man she knew was high profile and married. At least with one that appears to be still living with his wife. Thought she'd know better. (Least she's admitted it was wrong.) Sounds too like she had every opportunity, and tried, to get out of the situation, but didn't. Maybe, like a lot of married men having affairs, he was promising her the world, moon, stars, universe, whatever it took to keep her sweet. She's said she did fall in love, guess making it even harder to extricate herself. Heart and emotion taking over from brain? (Gonna have to read OK and the like to find out.) Gotta say too that surely the guy realised HE was married. He should have got out of the situation too. And I'm not sure he fell in love with Imogen. Well not enough. The gagging order, I think, points to that. Now I am a child of parents that broke up because of an affair. My Dad's. Should I hate all women who have affairs with married men? Apparently not. My Dad married his 'mistress' and although I wanted to hate her I ended up liking her. She wasn't the bad person I thought she was. We're still good friends now, even though she and my Dad eventually divorced. hmmm Guess I don't hate Imogen either. As angry as I sometimes am with her over this mess, I have great sympathy for her over the whole gagging order situation. From someone you thought loves you, that's devastating. But the wolves of the press can still report all about her. Totally unfair! Two to tango, two to face the music. Thought gagging orders were for ongoing criminal cases. Not protecting the blushes of married men. Don't do the crime if you can't face the headline! That gagging order is under review later today. And having said all that I'm not sure anymore whether I want it to stay or go. From Imogen's point of view can't decide which would now be better for her. Could get ugly. Going back to BB7 I've hated seeing Imogen upset. That doesn't appear to have changed. I have sent her little messages of support. haha Just a big softie really. But I really got hooked by BB7, and Imogen most of all. It was a slow start, but I really grew to like her more than any other person, although maybe not contestant, on any BB. And being able to watch BB almost 24/7 that year she kind of worked her way into my heart. See. Big softie. Not mentioned this before, but on rare occasions little looks, mannerisms, reminding me of my Aunt (who succumed to cancer) probably opened up the old heart a little easier. But it was Imogen herself that dove right in.Men can be big trouble for Imogen. They say things come in three's. Tape. Married man. God the next one could be a real humdinger! Maybe she should have a personal advisor or chaparone with her at all times. Might consider that.![]() Gotta wonder how this is going to effect the fundraising event Imogen was arranging for Childrens Hospices UK. Something she was working really hard on. Will it still be able to go ahead now? Will the people Imogen wanted to be there still come? Or disown her? Cos it was important to her and is for a good cause. So where does that leave me and my appreciation? Rat leaving a sinking ship? Captain going down with the boat? Marooned on a desert island? No idea! So much of what I wrote tonight has been deleated or edited to death, don't know which way I'm facing. But I was taught not to kick people when they're down. And I'm not a fair weather friend. So, raise the sail and see where the wind takes me? (Cue Rod - I am sailing,.....I am sailing, stormy waters...) Now, this IS an appreciation thread, so... Imogen is shrouded by sadness at the moment. Not good for pictures perhaps. Yet in some I've seen she still manages to be, kind of hauntingly beautiful. Not fare, how does she do it? See, now I could throttle her again. ![]() And for the record I'm still appreciating my Imogen calendar. It's very useful, keeping me abreast of date and day. Hanging on the wall, just over my right shoulder, it's felt like Imogen's been keeping an eye on me, making sure I don't get up to any mischief. Ah! So that's it. All this fuss is my fault. Imogen's been so busy keeping me in check she forget to check herself!![]() So sorry Imogen. ![]() (Oh dear. Quarter to four in the morning, flying on cold remedies and pills, and what nonsense. No rhyme, no reason, no sense, no point ... I've no hope!!! Please someone put me out of my misery. Now where's that lemsip....) |

Wow. This whole Imogen/footballer affair story has more twists and turns than a plate full of spaghetti. And now he's been named in parliament and I can safely name him too.... .I don't want to. Strange.
Could have knocked me down with a feather when the Judge said he thought it possible Imogen might have been trying to blackmail the fella. Then that same feather was tickling me into laughter when said fella went after the twitterers. Funniest own goal I've seen in ages. ![]() The story has come a long way from being just about an affair. Privacy vs free speech. MP's vs Judges. And I never thought I'd hear the PM talking about it. Strange. But Imogen herself, as always, is my main concern. Really hope the injunction on her is lifted and she can get her side of the story properly out there. He had no proof, so the judge really shouldn't be allowed to leave the dark shadow of blackmailer to hang over her. He released that under court privilege, so can't be sued. And Imogen has angrily denied his assumption. An assumption based on one persons say so can't be good practice. (Interestingly another woman subject to an injunction has also been accused of blackmail. A theme to these things? This time the ex-wife of a celeb wanting to write a book claiming they still had sex after he re-married.) With both sides able to speak freely we can all make up our own minds on what did or didn't happen. Shame she might have to wait till a court date in November to have her say. Although even then that might not be allowed. Most concerning though is Imogen's health. Couple of articles today talk of her not sleeping properly, hair falling out, eating, when she does, mainly junk food, drinking far more than normal to relax and relieve the stress, taking pills for depression. Not good. She has been out a few times with friends this past week. With her sister saying she's been locking herself away at home that's at least a little encouraging. With yesterdays events in Parliament perhaps Imogen will feel a little less under pressure. Less frightened, shaky and suspicious of everyone when she's out. Less scared she'll say the wrong thing and be thrown in jail. And less teary too. (With all the tears she's shed there shouldn't be a water shortage this year. ) I hope now she'll start taking better care of herself again. Kilimanjaro's coming up after all.Now knowing something of the toll this has been having on her I think she's handled it, and herself, pretty well. Even sticking it out with Twitter, with all it's nastiness. I've seen some of the stuff she's been getting. Some very nasty and vile stuff amongst it. Some aimed not at her but members of her family. and I know how much she loves them. But hopefully, and the reason she's stuck with it, the good stuff has outweighed the bad. And all the supportive tweets have helped her along this twist laden road she's found herself upon. To paraphrase Norwegian commentator Bjorge Lillelien, "Digital spy. Can you hear me. My gals took a hell of an emotional beating" But she's Welsh. She'll bounce back.

So even after Mr Hemming MP named Imogen's footballer she has been advised that she still can't say his name. But obviously everyone else in the countrty can. The laws a bit of an ass. And don't get me started on the judges.....
![]() Said in my last post Imogen had had some vile tweets headed her way. Last night things went down to a whole new level! Graphically explicit threats of violence aimed at her, her Mum, sister and nephew. Not surprised, if this mornings press is correct, that she called in the police. They really were that disturbing. ![]() It's been reported that Imogen has now given a 'warts n all' statement to the courts in order to try and get the injunction on her lifted. Messages, times, dates, places, the whole shebang. ( Sorry 'bout that last choice of words.) Really hope it differs enough from the footballers that the judge believes her this time. With the claims of blackmail and now the threats it's getting really important that Imogen is allowed to have her say.Timing might not be the best, but on a lighter note, Imogen looks real hot in a United shirt.

![]() One of the better articles about that: Injunction remains despite MP's revelation (I've continued to avoid saying the guy's name, because I'm not sure exactly what's allowed and what isn't, and I don't want to put D Spy in a position where they feel posts or threads should be deleted.) Quote:

Imogen will have to be pretty convincing to make him change his mind on the injunction now. Maybe the best she can hope for from him is another statement under court privilege correcting what he said in the first one. |

Justice Eady also seems a bit sensitive to the charge that judges are ""introducing a law of privacy by the back door". (He mentiones it in Paragraph 20 in his explanation of why he granted the injunction.) And he's been pretty heavily criticised for his views on libel, privacy and the press.

Can't make my mind up if Imogen's just been unlucky that it's this Judge handling the case.... or the footballers lawyers were clever in making sure they got this one.

Don't know about anyone else but I always seem to end up with a pocket full of pounds and pounds worth of 1/2/5 pence pieces. Now thanks to all this affair/injunction/privacy stuff with Imogen, I've been buying more papers than normal. Using all that loose change in the process. So I'm now a virtually copper free zone. And my trousers are pounds lighter!
![]() Always gotta to look out for a positive in these bad situations. And don't know how'll she'll feel about this, but thanks Imogen.

Thought it about time I made a long overdue return to the App Thread.
Gonna start with the latest news from Chateau Thomas. She tweeted yesterday that during the summer she's going to be working for This Morning. As one of the hosts on OB's on beaches around the UK and Europe. Imogen on a beach. Hmmm. Coals to Newcastle? Really hope that job goes well for her. ![]() The first press mention I've seen of it. This Morning Found it interesting that Imogen's wasn't the first mention of this job that I'd seen. That came from some Imogen 'haters' on twitter some 12+ hours before she broke the news. As they tweeted toThis Morning and criticised them for employing a 'homewreker/blackmailer/whore'. (The usual insults from such a nice group of people! ![]() Now anyone who keeps an eye on the press will have noticed that Imogen recently took a break in ye olde U S of A. Now most people wait to get home before regailing (boring) friends and family with tales and pics from there holidays. But not Imogen. She likes to be different. As there seemed to be new pics and stories of her escapdes there almost daily. But I'm sure there were plenty more pics and stories to bore with when she returned. Gotta say think that holiday did her the world of good though. Seems to be in much better spirits now.![]() There've also been reports in the papers of an acting job in the pipeline. Not sure bout Imogen acting again though. The last time she did that she ended up with a bit of a headache. ![]() Loserville preview Imogen returns to Wales to shoot part in short film So 'till the next time, I bid you, adieu.
