).It's not too bad now the initial niceyness seems to be waring off On my first impressions I really thought Shawn would go all the way - how wrong was I! |

i'm actually really enjoying the show now, after getting to know some of the candidates...jim's great, and ryan is "kind" to the eye...just need some more bitchiness and we'll be all set.
the attempts to differentiate the season from trump's are doing my head in though. every time martha says 'the conference room', i feel like screaming. And then the fact that she just stands up and says 'Goodbye' seems so drab...surely it wouldn't hurt her to do something a little more interesting...like make her way around the table and bitch slap the fired candidate? |

I like the way Martha gets more involved with the candidates.
Jim is doing my HEAD in! No idea who is going to win this though... a few candidates seem quite strong, but I still get mixed up with all the blondes! |

I am really enjoying the show, I actually like Martha and think she is OK. At least she has mentioned going to prison a couple of times and has not swept it under the carpet.
I agree that Jim would really do your head in, can you imagine working with him? I don't really have a favourite but I would maybe go for one of the blondes to win. All the men do come across as gay, I was quite surprised that a couple of them have mentioned their wives. |

How the heck did he survive tonight? I have all the rest of the episodes on DVD, but for some reason this one wouldn't download, so it's the first timeI've seen it.Some of his facial expressions are hilarious, but generally he's just a windbag IMO. I'm not keen on Bethany either. Do you think her friendship with Nick(?)'s daughter is keeping her in? She came across a bit too hyper tonight. |

It is kinda crap (compared to the Donald Trump's apprentice) - but strangely watchable. It's not really a 'rip-off' though - because Donald Trump produces it! - more a variation. I don't think it did too well in the States, and apparently Donald Trump and Martha Stewart fell out over it big time lol!

![]() As far as I know, they fell out as Martha wasn't happy with "just a spin-off", so planned on taking over Trump's show. To add insult to injury, she had the idea (in the first episode) of telling Trump that he was fired. Trump found out about this and was obviously fuming as he kindly gave her the spin-off series to help her get back on track after everything, plus he'd staunchly supported her during her trial and while she was in prison. They'd been friends for a while, but she only cared about herself.

Here's Donald Trump's side of his dispute with Martha Stewart. He certainly keeps up his reputation for playing hardball. http://www.realitytvworld.com/news/d...etter-3971.php |

Am I the only one who finds Alexis, the scary daughter from outer space, completely weird?
I know that Martha was estranged from her at some point, so I dont know what their relationship is like now, but for anyone who watched The Amazing Race 3, her eyes remind me of the creepy elder couple. ![]() She can only be the same age as the contestants, but she acts as if she's been in business for years. I wonder if nepotism got her everything or whether she actually had to work her way into the upper echelons? Anybody know? |

once again, i already know the entire outcome of this series before i even watched it, but it is interesting to see how certain people do now that i know are about to be 'said goodbye to', or i know make the last few...
there really aren't that many episodes left at all, thinking about it! there is at least one more double firing, i will say that ![]() and yes, alexis is as annoying as POO. |

I quite like this show actually. I want Ryan to win, Bethenny to go - She's so annoying.
Jim's great too. I hope Jim & Ryan are the final 2. |
