I'm really appreciating KUBB
I can't believe my son has had this CD for over a year and it's only now, after listening to his earplug thing, that I'm really appreciating this band.
I've got a lot of listening to do...and my son is showing me the way (just as I showed him the way to true soul music)

I first heard them on Jonathan Ross last year and thought the lead singer, Harry, had one of the best voices I'd ever heard.
I bought the album on the strength of that performance and I thought they'd be massive this year. It doesn't seem to have happened for them, I really don't know why, 'cos the promo certainly hasn't been bad. Maybe the next album might see them take off, they're talented enough certainly. |

Ooh, I'm glad people like Kubb! I've only heard one song of theirs, 'Wicked Soul' and quite liked it, but they're playing at our Graduation Ball in June, so I was wondering what their other songs were like. If the album's good, hopefully that means they'll play lots of other songs from it.
And when the other 2 acts at our ball are Rachel Stevens and Bodyrockers, hopefully people will appreciate how badly I want Kubb to be good, otherwise I'm going to keep my earplugs in all night

I know Harry quite well, very sweet guy, although a bit quiet. I really loved 'Grow', such a beautiful song
