I've had this set since January - picture quality on both Freeview & Sky Digital and from DVD is superb. I'll be able to tell you what HD looks like on it after I've had it installed on May 27th.
BTW - you can record from its built-in Freeview even if the set is in stand-by, or if you are watching Sky or DVD. ![]() Oh - and it has a built in card-reader so you can view all your pics from a digital camera |

http://www.homecinemachoice.com/cgi-...?reviewid=6662 I have to agree with there assessment. I have not seen ANY other technology bar professional grade CRT monitors (Very expensive used in studios and with as fewer a gemometry issues compaired to consumer CRT's) beat it for picture quality at the mo. But like any good technology it has proplems. Currently the tv works with a colour wheel and a white bulb to protect the image and produce all the colours. Even though the wheel spins very fast some people will still notice colour banding not unlike a rainbow with only 3 colours especialy when moving there eyes around the image rapidly. of course i mentioned bulb and they don't last forever but once replaced if nessasary the set will be as good as new again. New DLP's comming out end of this year or next year will use superbright LED arrays instead which will illiminate the rainbow effect and as i've seen at Tech shows the Picture is even colours are even better and with even more contrast. I have not seen better. Also this particular model has a slight build issue where it may produce a humming noise, the very latest batches have the problem fixed( mines A OK) but old ones are still comming from sagem. |

Freeview?
Just bought one, doesn't have a built in Freeview, that's only the model with a 'T' at the end from what I can see.
Just so others are aware. |

OK - the engimeer phoned at 8:30 yesterday morning. He said he'd be with us between 10 and 1 but in fact had been, installed and gone by 9:45.
The picture quality in HD is breathtaking!
