Buying music online
I downloaded iTunes but when i tried to enter my details it says my card number was valid (i have a masetro but the selections are VISA, mastercard, switch, american express and solo).
Has anyone else had this problem? I was looking at Napster but my digital audio player from Logik isn't compatible. Does anyone have any suggestions? |

Maestro is "Switch".
I used to have a Switch card, but they replaced them with Maestro. Did you ever see the penguin adverts on TV? ![]() By the way, does your MP3 player plac .m4a format? Many don't. |

There is the grey-legal area AllofMP3.com, which is like <£2 per album and you choose the format you want. |

If you bought the songs from a download service (such as Napster, HMV, etc.) then there's no way to import them into iTunes. You could buy them again from the iTunes Music Store, but your best bet would be to buy the CDs because then you will be able to play them on pretty much anything. |

There actually is a way.
Does your MP3 player allow you to sync to it using Windows Media Player? If they are syncable, go to Windows Media Player - go to Sync - Drop the song sinto there - Sync them - Then go into your MP3 player in My Computer and simply drag them back to your hard drive. Works for me, anyway. |

Most of them are on CD. I tried to synchorise them before but it only worked once i removed the protection.

You mean an audio CD, such as an album?
If you want, you can rip them directly into iTunes rather than using Windoes Media Player. Put the CD in, and in the left hald column it'll appear. Click on it, and then go to Import in the top right. You can change your settings on where these go, too. |

Go to tools > Options > Rip Music > Untick "Copy Protect Music" (if you want them in WMA, that is - I'd suggest changing the settings to MP3 at 192kpbs because MP3 is compatible with almost everything, whereas WMA is crap )
