sounding out
Hi,
I'm partially deaf ... I need a speaker phone ... I'm curious to their design - both the phones I've tried so far: iDect X1 and Magic Box Flip 150 have the speaker on the other side of the phone (to which you speak into) ... hmmm - genius eh? So I go hands free - but I have to have the speaker facing me to hear - which means the mic is on the opposite side - which gives the person calling me the feeling that they are partially deaf. Are there any sensibly made landline phones out there? Does this design make sense for any other reason? Surely even those with good hearing - would want the speaker near to their ear? Ok - I'm off to connect to tin cans together with some string ... p.s. still love to know if there are any great speaker phones out there (I don't want a headset) thanks again, x |
