Problem with component feed
The top of the screen is distorted/wobbles when using component. Feed is from a Liteon LVW-5006 DVD recorder. Scart does not have this problem.
Anyone else had similar as the problem could be the source (never used component before), the TV (brand new, unlikely?) or the cables (new QED Qunex P-CV1)? |

what screen are you connecting tooo? sounds like a poor sync on component output

You need to turn on Progresive scanning in your TV settings and see if the Liteon has the option too.

On switching between component and Progressive settings on the Liteon, the problem eventually disappeared but I had some other problems with the recorder. Now have the Liteon 5115 and no such problem (and seems a much more refined recorder than the older 5006).
