Quite a few torrent clients are banned from certain sites.

Check the FAQ on the torrent site you are trying to d/l from (if there is one....) or alternatively use either Azureus or utorrent, which are better than BitLord anyway.

It *could* be due to BitLord being banned (BitLord is just a modified version of BitComet which is now banned on some sites .... mostly private ones).

It could also be a dud torrent (ie. from a private site posted to a public one where the passkey will be invalid).

Tracker could be dead.

uTorrent is apparently very good. Azureus is a good client but it's very resource heavy.

I use BitSpirit myself at the moment. Can't say I've had any issues with it. Very nice to use.

It could also mean you need to set your preferences for the amount of simultaneous downloads you want to allow. I'm presuming that you are doing more than one.

It could even be a full HD aswell.

No chance from a torrent, takes a few hours to download a 350mb file, would take a very very long time to download 3gig file if they are even availible.

Don't confuse the 750MB versions for HD, they are not.

Yes, I meant hard drive.

If your preferences are set to download say 5 for example, and you are indeed downloading 5 simultaneously, that is why you have a red x showing. Just increase your downloads. Or, check your hard drive for space.
