Problems with O2??
Is anyone else having problems with O2, all afternoon my phone has been saying 'searching' and 'limited coverage'. Not sure if it's my phone or the network.

Well i haven't heard anything, although a few months ago when i was on O2 and had a Samsung E350, it kept doing that one night between 12am & 1am so i asked someone who had a Nokia 8310 also on O2 and that wasn't receiving the network either

There are network issues affected mainly the South East of England. The message you are getting is the problem which is known to o2.
Fix should be very quickly as it is of highest priority. Post Codes BN3, RH, YO and a couple of others that i cannot remember of the top of my head are also effected. Certain parts of Scotland also seem to be having issues. |

My O2 went out in Eastbourne at work today and still got no signal in Brighton.... are there details of the affected areas anywhere on the web or on an o2 site?

Try sending an SMS to your own number once the service is back to normal.
2 to 3 hours is not classed as late, as far as the network are concerned but it isn't usual. Usually by sending an SMS to your own number it can help when delays are apparent, and confirm to you if its the o2 SMSC that is at fault or the other SMSc. |
