One2One used to be a superb network! The price plan was very reasonable, 30p a minute for the first two minutes each day and then it would be 5p a minute all day. When T-Mobile took over the helm we were promised :
"You will still get the same great value backed by a leading operator."
What a load of sh*te. They have completely contradicted themselves there!
Until they made the changes calls were just 5p a minute (after the first two minutes of use each day at 30p) I thought this was very reasonable, and bought a One2One phone. However now the customer value has dropped. Their new "Everyone" priceplan (which all Pay as you Go user have been sneakily switched onto whether you wanted it or not without warning) is a complete ripoff.
Calls now cost 30p a minute at all times. After spending £10 they are reduced to 20p. After £20 they are reduced to 10p. At the end of the month this is reset. Now I know very few people that spend £20+ on mobile calls a month, and those that do are on pay monthly. In an explaination from T-Mobile I was told
"Heavy users will benefit from this priceplan"
What another load of sh*te.
On the old standard plan a heavy user could get 190 minutes out of a £10 voucher.
On the new Everyone plan a heavy user can get 33 minutes out of a £10 voucher.
Somebody's Maths hasn't worked out correctly, and it's not mine.
Are T-Mobile completely thick? Since when was 10p cheaper than 5p? This is quite a sad event for any t-Mobile customers. Anyone thinking of getting a new phone, don't buy a T-Mobile, you don't know where you stand.
Them and their sneaky tariff changes. Oh well, I guess it's the best of a bad crop (Vodafone = Losing lots of cash and spends all it's cash on silly premium services. o2 = good website, but pretty shoddy when it comes to priceplans and also spends a lot on silly services which not many people want (i.e. the Text Footy game. Try and score a goal via a text message. Does anyone play these games?) Virgin Mobile = Can't say I know anyone with a Virgin phone, so I guess I can't comment. Orange = Depressing yet creative adverts but hardly ever upgrade, always last to get new services, very expensive (actually quite cheap now compared to t-mobile)
Comments, anyone?

???
Where as it can be done for almost £10 a month cheaper with the new Everyone plan. So its not as bad as you make out, infact it's better value in a few cases!
