Thought I had recorded Alien V. Preditor yesterday afternoon on sky Movies 9 but instead I got a 2hr request for my PIN code. Anyone know how to turn it off?

I don't think you can because they show 15 & 18-rated films before the watershed time (8 isn't it on Sky movies?) so I guess they're covering their asses by making sure an adult puts the PIN in.

While there's no way of turning the pin protection off, I think you can simply select the movie you want to see in the EPG planner, and enter the pin code there, in advance.

Mmm, must be worth a try. Not used the sky EPG since getting the one on the Pioneer.

OK, I tried it myself, with the EPG and contrary to what I believed, there's no option to enter your pin code in advance. Sorry about that, I misunderstood the Sky Pin Protection instruction clip

You'll have to record it when it's shown sfter 10pm .
There's no way around this problem at the moment.

According to a channel 5 documentary on censorship shown last year only 33% of households have children under 16 ie 67% don't have under 16s and have no use for the nanny censorship of Ofcom/Sky.
