Feeder's new album, Comfort In Sound, is awesome. Soooo much deeper and darker than the popcorn rock that was Echo Park, and amazing songs considering that this is the first album since Jon Lee's death. If you get a chance to listen to it, do so. Top stuff.

I've never listened to Feeder before this album, but I must buy it as I quite like as you say the dark lyrics. Also the new drummer is I think ex Little Angels Mark Richardson.

Come Back Around is one of my favourite songs at the moment. Is the album all like that or is it just the odd one out?

Believe me when I say theres nothing wrong with Echo Park

Guys, ive been listening to Confort In Sound constantly for the past couple of weeks and I think its the best album released by a British artist this year (and I think it is better than the new Oasis album...). It can take a few listens to get to you but boy, oh boy, it grabs you and drags you into it. Its a stunning album

And its out this monday

Yeah same here and so far I'm really enjoying it. Though I liked Echo Park too this is just my thing and I'm looking forward to seeing them in February even more after hearing this.

That's correct as far as I know. He is very good and seems to fit with Feeder's style extremely well.

well, its even more excellent hearing it on CD than on mp3!

The only track im not too fond of is godzilla, but then they had the same sorta track on echo park, "bug" i think it was called.

I needed to turn the base down for that one, for a second I thought I was in Manchester during an Earthquake.

does anyone know how to access the bonus track(s)?

The sticker on the front mentions one but ive checked on the PC and theres nothing there, on cd-wow.com it reports there are 14 tracks. Mine only has 12.

Yup totally agree. Shame its too long to make it as a single. That is without cutting it to shreds
