Anybody heard anything about this? I see NBC have it pencilled in in their schedules for a January 2007 start.

Instead of filming the show in New York/New Jersey, as they have for the first 5 seasons, for season 6 they are moving the show to L.A.

Maybe they should have The Apprentice: Washington D.C. and the show could be about picking a senator as an apprentice to the President.

Wouldn't that be fun?

Yep, The Donald will still be the main man.

RE: Apprentice being axed; Season 6 had already been ordered before the upfronts, last November actually, if it doesn't perform then it could well be the last.

ooh, this could be interesting...i actually think the show could be more interesting and fresher in this new environment.

imo american reality shows get overkill...i can still remember when the first season was only just finishing and the second season was beginning...and now five are done and (almost) dusted?

Anybody know exactly what business interests he has in LA?

I thought most of his dealing were in NY and the show won't be the same without the famous Trump branding

Nope, its just the one season ordered so far. . Season 5 of the Apprentice has not got very good ratings at all despite being very enjoyable.

The fact that there will be only one series of the Apprentice in the 2006-2007 schedule does not bode well for future series. Hopefully they will continue it and do an All Stars series
