apparently this is a true thing that happened on radio1 during the day the other day, thought i'd share it with you

There was a competition to have dinner with blazing squad or something (urgh!) and this girl rang up, sounding all trevvy (like blazing squad, i think only the teenagers of the forum will understand the meaning of trev/townie etc). Anyway the question was:

"Name a soap opera"

and the girl goes "erm....ahhh....aww mayte er...um.....holly...vallance!"



Sorry it just cracked me up and its true thats the worse thing. Does anyone know if it was recorded anywhere?

It looks like she thought they said soap STAR instead of soap OPERA, doesn't sound that big a deal to me, I've had far worse than that.

hmm, but its the way she said holly valance/hollyoaks..i dunno just seemed very humerous to me
