For all you major aguilera fans i found this , hope you all buy the album on august 14th!
Also first track "aint no other man" is released on june 12th . its a must have! Artist : Christina Aguilera Album: Back to Basics Official Release date: 14/08/06 (UK) 15/08/06 (US) RCA Records TRACKLISTING : 01. Back to Basics Intro Confirmed Track Back to Basics begins with a spooky 1920s carnival fantasia, with producer Linda Perry playing a carnival barker promising thrills and chills: "Welcome to the greatest show ... greatest show on earth!" Then the orchestra sweeps into an Abbey Road-esque chord progression as Aguilera's alto soars. Source: http://www.vh1.com/news/articles/15...?headlines=true 02. I Got trouble Confirmed Track The album next reveals a throwback hip-hop-soul sound that uses a string quartet, horns and jury-rigged recording techniques to evoke a vintage sound and sensibility. To attain the scratchy blues sound in "I Got Trouble," producers used a bass-drum mic with fabric muffling it, and had Aguilera record the vocal when she had a cold. Source: http://www.vh1.com/news/articles/15...?headlines=true 03. Save Me From Myself Confirmed Track Produced by: Linda Perry Aguilera drank whiskey and recorded up close on the mic, "with no ad-libs, no nothing," in order to produce a raw feel for this track. The song is dedicated to her husband Jordan. 04. Aint No Other Man Confirmed Track Produced by: Dj Premier To be premiered on the MTV movie awards on June 8th, this track has a whopping 127bpm (beats per minute) and has been confirmed as the first single to be taken from Back to Basics, for release on June 12th. 05. Interlude 06. Candyman Confirmed Track Produced by: Linda Perry Aguilera describes this track as the happiest, fun song on the album. Its an uptempo 50's inspired track, rumoured to sample Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy. 07. Back in the Day Confirmed Track Produced by: DJ Premier At 100bpm this is likely to be the 2nd fastest track on the album. It is a homage to soul artists from "back in the day". 08. Interlude 09. Nasty Naughty Boy Confirmed Track Produced by: Linda Perry Nasty Naughty Boy is a funky track with a 20s burlesque feel. Aguilera sings 'Now you better give me a taste / Put your icing on my cake' (From GQ Magazine) 10. Here to Stay Rumoured Track (wikipedia confirms it as a track) a song currently being using in Pepsi commercials, this track is suprisingly amazing and has a similar feel to Beyonce's track 'Crazy in Love'. Even though it has become a hot topic on message boards on the internet, there is no news as yet whether this will actually feature on the final release. 11. Interlude 12. Still Dirrty (Featuring Nas) Confirmed Track Produced by: Unknown On this track Aguilera shows she's 'still got the nasty in me/ Still got that dirty degree/ Still got that freak in me'. Its in effect 'Dirrty' Part two but with a completely different sound. 13. Slow Down Baby Rumoured Track Produced by: Unknown Little is known about this track, aside from its rumoured title. Its not currently known whether this will feature in the final release. 14. Interlude 15. Understanding Confirmed Track Produced by: Kwamé It is described as a ballad reminiscent of old blues songs. 16. The Right Man Confirmed Track Produced by: Linda perry No Information is currently available about this track. 17. Interlude 18. Mercy on Me Confirmed Track Produced by Linda Perry No Information is currently available about this track. 19. What Kind Of World Rumoured Track Produced by: Unknown Little is known about this track, aside from its rumoured title. Its not currently known whether this will feature in the final release. 20. I'm not in disagreement at the pics, but if she says that she wants to get rid of that image (did she? all this media shit is often exaggerated), then... get rid of the image.

i.e 20,30,40's pin-up / burlesque its hardly leather chaps. there are thousands of pictures of her in this new style, this particular one however slightly conveys the idea of burlesque a little further. |
