Great stuff!
I used to love Scritti Polliti and I am pleased that they are back.
Hope their new material lives up to all their previous stuff.
Did you know that "Scritti Politti" actually means "Political writings" ? Well you do now.

I've got their Provision album which is OK and superbly produced.

I did have their Cupid and Psyche '85 album on tape as well which is a very good album full of catchy pop tunes, also with superb production (Woodbeez, Absolute and Word Girl were all good singles imo).

I doubt their new stuff will be in a similar vein though but here's hoping.

i was reading about this in the paper the other day. supposed to be a very good album. was reading it was saying about the band being one of the earliest post-punk (with a bit of skanking ) acts

the album has a flavour of all his work

Itīs not like Provision , which is my favourite album.

This needs more listenings, much more listenings. Somebody who doesnīt know the act could think : What the hell!.

It does need a few listens but it's a lovely album.
Top tracks: Dr Abernathy, Road To No Regret and No Fine Lines.

Cupid is a brilliant album, and Green Gartside has an amazing voice.
I will have to purchase this and have a listen......
