Connecting a telly to PC problem
Connecting a telly to a Pc problem
It's with a heavy heart that come to this forum today - on a bank holiday of all things. I have just purchased a Samsung LE 26R74 and i'm desperately trying to connect it to a Dell Dimension 4400 with a Nvidia Geforce2 mx/mx400 adaptor. I went to PC world yesterday and picked up a Belkin VGA lead and... nothing. The TV didn't pick up anything. Any clues to this problem would be very much appreciated. As usual... cheers. |

Dont know your equipment so... are you connecting it up with the PC Sub cable or hdmi/DVI? I assume you have selected the appropriate input on the TV with the remote.
Is this as "the" monitor or a secondary monitor? If it is secondary have you enabled the second monitor out under your desktop controls? |

Astaroth - I've attempted to connect the PC to the TV with a VGA cable, not a fancy hdmi/DVI one. As for selecting the PC as an input, on the menu screen 'PC' is greyed out, so I can't select it. And I was hoping to make the HDTV the sole monitor. Any suggestions gratefully received!
