International calls in Draytek VoIP DialPlan
Does anyone know how to set up an international call in the Dial Plan of a Draytek router? (its speed-dial)
For instance a UK number can be entered as 02071231234@draytel.org, but I want to be able to add an Italian number, and 0039xxxxxxxxxxx@draytel.org doesn't work. I've tried just 39xxxxxxxxxxxetc and 01139xxxxxxxxxxxetc to no avail.

Have you tried +39, and make sure you're leaving on the initial leading 0 on the start of the number (Italy's one of the few countries where this stays on for international dialling).
The other thing you can do is try asking this on the Draytek forum through their homepage, although beware if you ask a question they don't like, no matter how factual, it will be deleted - according to their mods, their routers work flawlessly. I never had so many problems with anything as much as my Draytek router, persevered for 5 months before sending the thing back. |

I've not had a great deal of problems with my Draytek (2600G). The wireless was iffy at first but now the beta firmwares have sorted that out.
I've posted a few threads and many posts on their forum, and none of them have been deleted. Some have been very critical of draytek. I can't help you with the voip side as I don't have a V or VG, only a G. |

The VOIP problems are Draytek's biggest problems though, and in all fairness the router side of my 2100VG was very good and very stable. The voice side was abysmal, with frequent instability and lack of recognition of this.
They simply don't seem to take VOIP seriously at all from my experience. |
