I have read some of the previous threads and got some useful information, however I am still a little confused and would ask for some guidance:

I am going to be living in Budapest for 2 years and want to buy either a 37" or 40" new LCD TV. We are renting a house with a large open plan Lounge/dining room/kitchen so need a biggish TV.

I have been offered a 'new' Sony Brevia 40" (don't know which model, but it arrived at the shop yesterday!) for 1436gbp. Also Samsung LE40R51 for 1269gbp.

Do these seem reasonable? What else would you suggest?

A couple of questions:

1. Whatever I buy, will it work when back in th UK? Of course the guy in the shop said it would.

2. I want a HD ready TV, although cannot get HD in Hungary at present will get SKY HD when back in UK (currently have SKY+ box here and get standard Sky Digital)

Any thoughts? As I am living here now, I've looked at a couple of the UK websites, but they only seem to deliver to UK addresses, which is no good out here - does anybody know of a UK discount webiste which will deliver abroad?
