Hi, I have some AVIs that I watch and they are dual-language track ones whereby the right channel is english and the other channel is non-english. I can play these through windows media player using a plug-in or similar that will allow me to redirect the right channel to both channels so I get english out of both channels. However, I was wondering if such a plug-in/channel switching would be reproduced correctly if I then subsequently watched the feed via a media-center extender rather than on the media center PC itself? Anyone tried this at all?
Thanks
Steve.

Well. I've never tried to mess about with dual track AVI's - but anyway, some pointers -

- Are you using Transcode 360 to view your AVIs on your extender? I think (could be wrong) that T360 in its latest release (beta 4) offers the ability to pick soundtracks.

- What extender do you have? If its the Xbox 360, Transcode 360 will be the only way of doing this. If its an older Xbox, use XBMC to play your AVIs. Choosing from multiple soundtracks is a piece of cake for that software.

Try the forums on xbox-scene.com for more support. Not many MCE users come here.

regards,
Paul
