CD-R/RW Compatible??
I've noticed that many home hi-fi systems are now marked as 'CD-R/RW Compatible' (but not always MP3 compatible).
As I imagine this means they can play disc's that have been burned on a PC (but not copied Officer, honest) does that mean that hi-fi systems that are not marked this way have some sort of problem playing these?

I wasn't sure if there was some problem as I (sniff) lost a Aiwa h-fi to "too many copied CD's" a few years ago.
Eventually it wouldn't recognize any CD's at all, copied or original, and just became a very big radio. This was in my previous married life, though I know my ex-wife still knows her CD supplier and get's 99% of her CD's from them. |
