Homechoice service outage

Silly question it may be, does anyone know anything more than Tech Support are telling us with regards to the service outage that's been happening since yesterday lunchtime? I've spoken to Tech Support twice in the last 24 hours and they told me last night that they thought everything would be fixed last night and again this morning at 8am, they now say that everyone on HC is affected and they hoped that things would be resolved this morning. Guess that's wrong then

Not their fault I know, but its frustrating

we are all on different exchanges, so if your network/TV is down it is possibly only in your area at your exchange - & also possibly by BT not homechoice.

Actually, no....nothing like that. I wanted to cancel my service 'cos I'm in the middle of selling my place and emmigrating to the US and I thought we were gonna be going at the end of April, but we didn't, so I asked them to cancel my cease request and they told BT not to remove my equipment. HC said it was all OK and I wouldn't be disconnected, but guess what? BT being the idiots they are ignored the cancellation of the cease request and went ahead and removed my DSL line

This is the second time this has happened to me in 2 months Not very happy as you can well imagine. So, I'm stuck with good old 56K until HC sort this out.
