Freeview Box to Projector [Nokia Mediamaster -> Infocus X1a, TV: Toshiba 28ZH46]
Hi there,
OK so in anticipation of this summer's football World Cup, I'm looking to get the games projected onto a big screen. I have all of the equipment, or so I hope. Freeview Box: Nokia Mediamaster (i.e. converted OnDigital box) Projector: InFocus X1a TV: Toshiba 28ZH46 Now, the Freeview box only has, as far as I can tell, TV and AUX scart sockets on the back, but I do have one of those small little converters which have the composite converting into a scart. The projector's inputs are composite and S-Video. The TV has all manner of connections, but I'm not sure how many are outputs as such. Using just composite to composite leads, I managed to get my Sony DVD player (which has composite output) to be projected, and this also works when I plug the composite leads into the converter, and then into a 3 scart > 1 scart box (which the DVD is also "scarted" into). SO, basically, I want to be able to watch the football, and I don't really mind whether it comes from the Freeview box (though preferable) or from the TV's terrestrial connection, but I have no idea which cable should go where. ANY help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks Wilf |
