Hello All!

I want to buy a Samsung D600 on Pay As You Go. I want to use it on Virgin Mobile.

Virgin Mobile sell it for £249.99

Comet are selling it on the Vodafone network for £177.95

When trying to see how easy it will be to debrand all the vodafone stuff, all I can find is the Orange debranding method.

Does this mean vodafone wont brand it? If yes, how easy is it to debrand myself? And unlocking it to the Virgin Network?

Thanks!

unlocking it is easy you just put a code in that works on all d600s. it resets thm mind wipes all the info off cuz i done it to mine and all my numbers were gone lol

code is

Model: Samsung SGH-600

*2767*3855#
*2767*2878#

use 1st one and if that dosnt work or says invalid use second. dont worry about the numbers changing to -'s as well because its ment to do that

dont know about debranding just change the wallpaper.

you will havethe network logo on the actual phone mind. thats why mines sim free so i dont have a logo on my phone

you will need the correct cable (usb is quickest)
i think it will be the same cable as d500

Okay, I've got the USB D600e Flash Cable on order from ebay.

I've downloaded OneNAND downloader and D600EXBEK4 firmware.

Now when the cable gets here, what do I do???!

What happens if it fails mid-debranding? Im really worried now! What would make it fail? What if the firmware I have isnt 'good'?

biggest mistake people make is to not start with a fully charged battery.
also make sure you dont disconnect cable while flashing.

i cant get onto avi-stuff atm - it must be busy - but i think the flash files are rated so if they is a faulty one it would have been shown up.

if you really cXck it up then take it to service center and say it just wouldnt turn on this morning

this may also be of some help
