Let's Dance/David Bowie

Every Breath You Take/Police

Very slim pickings. I rememeber 1983 as the year I started going off chart music and got into indie.

Oh, and 1983 also featured possibly the worst no.1 of all time in UB40's Red Red Wine. That song makes me want to commit acts of extreme violence on small, defenceless furry animals. And I'm a pacifist.

This year was bad........and it's going to get worse as we enter the S/A/W period..........

Can barely pick one song out of that list..........

Gonna vote for The Flying Pickets for those incredible sideboards....

Okay, the five I've chosen are as follows;

Culture Club - Karma Chameleon
Bonnie Tyler - Total Eclipse of the Heart
Billy Joel - Uptown Girl
Rod Stewart - Baby Jane
Men at Work - Down Under

Choosing just five acts seems to get more and more difficult as each of these rounds progress!
